I dealt with Patrick in the Garden Centre, he was extremely helpful with regard to our queries. I felt sorry for the team working in such a hot environment this week.

We made an app to see John grimes in the kitchen department to discuss a possible purchase of a new kitchen
Well what can we say!! This guy is the must genuine guy discussed and answered all our queries and funds available to buy a kitchen
He patiently discussed and designed our required kitchen very experienced man of fittings measurements suggestions and materials in a kind and relaxed manner. Just visited this store today to purchase a heated towel rack the man who was with another colleague in the bathtoom department sent me to look for aumone else to help assist me. I asked customer service who had no clue where anything was and sent me back to the bathroom section. Like how hard is it to assist a customer its 10am it must be near break time. I wont be recommending this place and i wont be back

A very well packed DIY and gardening outlet. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable regarding stock positions and uses. They are happy to assist in getting the product you need and even suggesting alternatives ( sometimes better ones) . The store is well laid out and signed for ease of selection of products. The gardening area is large with plants, landscaping materials and garden sheds etc. They also have a large selection of pots and garden compost. Staff are happy to assist with heavy or bulky objects.
Tools of all types are available with a good range of rechargeable tools of varying prices from tradesman to hobby style.
They have kitchen and bathroom displays with computer assisted designing staff willing to help.
Check out staff are pleasant and helpful and more tills are opened at busy times.

Be careful when buying plants at B&Q Newry. Most of them have pests on. Always check underneath the leaves. Last year I bought prayer plant and tomatos infested with spider mites which destroyed my whole prayer plant collection and greenhouse plants. It is practically impossible to get rid of them. This year they have the same problem, so I bought all my tomato and cucumber plants at local garage centre instead.

Just visited B&Q recently, and while the standard layout was pretty much what you'd expect, I gotta say, there was one thing that really let it down. The toilets, they were not in a good state. someone seriously needs to check them more often.
