Food was delicious and fresh.
We wanted to share a Brie, waitress warned us that it was small, when it arrived it was actually titanic sized ?. Portions were large but the food was so tasty that you won't mind taking it home with you.

Over priced and the food did not match the prices - the standard of the food wasn?t good enough with every piece of chicken we ordered over cooked - from frozen.
Didn?t order desserts as they were £7.50!! Crazy for an out of town experience unfortunately

Really impressed with this restaurant.
Had a lovely meal for two here just before Christmas. The old stone building is beautiful really takes you back in time. The food and service was out of this world with the added bonus of a delicious pint of the black stuff. Will definitely be back again in 25 highly recommended.

Lovely food in the old mill building. The kids enjoyed their burgers, as did the adults. Salmon was very nice. Staff are friendly and accommodating.

We were staying on site in the air bnb and when we arrived we had some drinks to settle us in. The place was amazing. They had a lovely cosy fire in the corner whilst we enjoyed a few quiet ones.
The next morning we had breakfast here. My wife and daughter had the breakfast bap whilst I had the eggs on sourdough with sausage and bacon. Very tasty.
The staff were extremely friendly and couldn't be more helpful.
We will definitely be returning as a family.
Kid-friendliness: It's on a farm / zoo and has a playground beside it. What more could kids ask for?

The food was very tasty but awaiting time ?: over 1 hour for a starters (kid meal we requested to serve with starters and our daughter get her plate as last one) then main course 45 min after starters.

I worked in the area with a team of 3 for nearly a month and The Hungry Goat was our go to place for dinner. The food is great, the property is beautiful, and the service is friendly and fast. I highly recommend you visit and see the wildlife park on site!Kid-friendliness: Great place for kids. I saw many parents with small ones playing at the playground on property.

Wonderful food. Excellent staff. Every single item on the menu that we ordered was fantastic. Staff recommendations didn?t miss.
