We had a really long wait when others in after us got served first . Then I got the completely wrong order !!! I couldn't wait for another 30 minutes so disappointed I kept it. They gave us 10% discount . Rather disappointing considering it was their mistake .

Outstanding, well cooked food. Well portioned and flavored. My only critic is that I feel so bad for the floor staff who are understaffed. They do a great crew but you can see they are under pressure which takes away from the guest experience. Highly recommended. Delicious and tasty.

Was here yesterday evening and the food was just amazing! Perfectly cooked steak in the korean noodle bowl and the salmon skin was delicious! So cripsy. Yum! Highly recommend ?

I used to adore Slims.But I was absolutely gutted to see that they changed the menu recently and no longer serve my favourite breakfast. ??They removed the vegan sausages and white pudding. It's mainly halloumi, avocado and kale now for the veggie options and I don't like any of those. Talk about disappointed! ?

New menu is a huge disappointment.Satay chicken is being served with a few salad leaves instead of vegetables.Now you can buy them separately for about 5 quid.I lost my favourite wee restaurant in the town:(

I?ve had to write so many awful reviews lately that I?ve more or less stopped? the few good places tend to be bunged (so can?t really handle any more praise), and there are just too many bad ones to keep up. There?s the odd exception though. Yesterday we found ourselves in Magherafelt (well? it was foggy, your Honour), desperately looking for somewhere inspiring to eat. Now I love a good fry, fish and chips etc, as much as the next man. Or possibly more. But what I really like to find is places that do something a little healthier, more exotic, whatever. And what a pleasant surprise Slim?s was. I had a delicious meal of strips of beef, stir-fried with a delicious sticky sauce, some vegetables etc (not on the online menu, and I can?t remember what it was called ? a bit like teriyaki). My girlfriend struggles with certain food combinations, so couldn?t handle the specific way her Katsu curry was prepared ? the waitress was unbelievably helpful, and got it redone in the kitchen. We loved this place. What stood out above all was the service ? the young waitresses were the friendliest, most cheerful we?ve come across in a long time, and really left us smiling.

I ordered the pulled BBQ chicken flatbread, which came with a piece of flatbread a lot of bbq sauce covered chicken on it and alot of rocket lettuce, along with some halloumi cheese which has honey and seeds on it , and i also ordered a Coke Zero, all of this food was fantastic! I loved it so much and I will definitely be coming back here!
