Absolutely fantastic, friendly and helpful, but they also have a cafe upstairs. They have a lift to get up to it and the food is unbelievable everything is cooked fresh and the tea is beautiful, couldn't recommend it enough.

What a lovely shop! There's a lift to the second floor, where there's a large toy store, and a large cafe. There's a photo processing area, and also a really great area for kids to play safely while their parents can have a coffee and still watch them

It has been quite some time since I last visited Crawford & Son's in Maghera due to not living close by, but I make a point to visit when I'm in the area due to: Helpful pleasant staff.Selection of produce is fresh on the day.Wheelchair accessible.Parking is excellent. And great offers.

Crawfords is a proper local country supermarket. It's selling point I think is the bakery. Everything is amazing. If you love sunblest Veda bread - try the homemade Veda bread, amazing, better actually. They do fresh donuts, fresh lots of things. Oh and cornflake squares that remind me of primary school. There is a proper butcher counter. Upstairs they have a toy section and a homeward area too. There other big selling point is their cafe. I have had breakfast there - their meat is so delicious that we went and bought the sausages and bacon at the butcher counter. They do nice scones in the cafe - chocolate and coconut, which my mum loves. They have a wide ranging menu, you will find something. There is also a kids play area upstairs too (small charge) - parents have to stay in or be near by I can't remember right now. I love seeing the owners going around the whole of the shop seeing things are up to a high standard. They are also so community minded- they will stop and chat to the customers. There is also a newsagents and an off-licence. We only visit here if we have been to the dentist!! Best reason to go to the dentist ?At the time of writing this - I am unsure what opening hours the cafe and kid play area are, or if they are even open.Thank you Crawfords

Went for something to eat in there upstairs cafe. There is a lift for anyone who cannot use the stairs. Very clean the food is fantastic real home cooking. The staff are excellent and friendly. Excellent value for money and they have a family room so if you have children you can eat with them and they have toys to keep them busy, but on the other hand if you don't have children the main eating place is child free, they also have a smoking area out on the balcony . Highly recommend.

We never shop anywhere else. Local is the best way to go. When I first moved to Gulladuff I thought tesco and asda was the only way to go i.e. home deliveries. I always just assumed locals were dear. Its actually the complete opposite! They always have great weekly deals on products, there staff are so lovely and friendly and their produce is of the highest quality you could ask for. The local butchers in store provide the highest quality meat ive ever had at amazing prices! Never EVER shopping at big brand stores again, their meat goes off within 2 days. Crawfords their quality lasts the week, even agter defrosting end of week stuff, like ud expect! Shop local guys, its the only way to go. Oh and their coffee shop upstairs and toy store is such a cute touch extra!

Great kids area and cafe. Wonderful staff. Grocery shopping is expensive however, you have everything under one roof so it is convenient.

Crawford's is a family run business in Maghera with a good selection in many depts....grocery, in-house butchery, toys, in-house bakery, hardware and a very nice wee restaurant etc. The staff are trained to a high level of care & consideration for their customers. During lockdown they provided a service par excellence, and continue with their telephone ordering service & delivery. I would recommend Crawford's of Maghera to compete with any of the "Big Names" - so called. Crawford's epitomises the saying that "Small is beautiful!"
