Dropped in here for a light lunch on a cold and damp day in Derry. Warm and welcoming we had the Soup of the Day with Wheaten bread. This was followed by a raspberry and white chocolate scone with extra jam and cream then a slice of moist cherry & almond cake. Finished off with coffee. All very good and with friendly service well worth a visit

This is a delightful place to have your morning coffee. The thatched building is cute and inside is prettily decorated and made cosy with a real fire. There are also lots of attractive, locally made things to buy displayed all over the place. We were warmly welcomed by all the staff. We had excellent coffee and amazing raspberry and white chocolate scones. In a city with many good scones these are absolutely the best. It did get very busy but we weren't rushed. We will visit again soon.

This little English cottage is tucked away in the center of Crafter?s Village and receive very little street traffic. There are a dozen or more tables scattered around the ?living? room surrounded by art work and pottery. It seems to be popular with the locals and the fresh baked goods must the the attraction. We ordered muffins and scones and drinks to enjoy. Definitely work the linger if you are getting Derry wall weary.

Amazing food and service at The Cottage. A lovely spot to stop for coffee and a great selection of food. We brought our dog with us, and sat outside the cafe, the staff were fantastic, very dog friendly and gave our dog a pupcup.

We called here to meet with friends while on a day trip to Derry. I didn't realise this craft village existed on previous trips to the city. This is a beautiful little cafe with really friendly staff. Raspberry and white chocolate scones are to die for washed down with a great cappuccino. The price was more than reasonable too, sometimes places hike the price up if they are selling crafts as well but not here. I would definitely visit here again, highly recommended

The crepe that I eventually was served was good but I queued at the counter for 25 minutes to place an order and waited a further 20 minutes for my order to arrive. It was mostly scones and coffee that was being served so what was the delay? Although I was not disappointed with my lunch, the service let me down and that is why I am giving the 3 stars. This place is always flat out with tourists and locals so be prepared to queue, patience required.

The Cottage Craft Gallery and Coffee Shop was my wife's favorite spot in Derry. We had coffee there twice and lunch once. Everything about the place was cool. From watching the owner make fresh crepes and scones to the quant tables outside. Highly recommend this spot when in Derry!

My husband and I stopped here for a delicious light lunch. I had one of the Cottage?s award-winning scones. I chose one of the savory scones: ham, red onion, sun dried tomato, topped with melted cheese and chutney. It was fantastic. I never before had a savory scone. I also had leek and potato soup and a little pot of tea. This is a cozy little spot. My husband and I were passing through Derby on a rainy day. This cafe is located within the craft store complex, a couple blocks uphill from the city hall, off a main street.
