Contacted camalot to let them know tescos waterside had closed the lottery machine at 7.00pm on Saturday 30th Sept as apparently they had no staff leaving numerous people unable to buy a ticket.

Staff never pleasant when in and shelves empty. Plus a lot of cages on shop floor. And empty boxes as well as plastic. Someone will fall or trip. So staff need to be more organised and helpful

they've removed most of their tills in order to fit more self service ones, which is fine apart from the fact that they have something like 16 self service tills either being overseen by one person who's run off their feet, or multiple people who stand around chatting to each other and who'll fire you a dirty look if you have the temerity to need a security tag removed.

Very long queues for tills. Half hour wait. Trolley too full for multiple self service tills and self scanning out of order. Really awful, will not be back.Shelves very empty. Awful.

Just wanted one item today. Picked up scanner as usual for "Scan as you shop". Got my one item and headed for tills. "Scan as you shop" closed! Horrendous queues everywhere else. Abandoned trying to buy item.I know Tesco's excuse for this as I've suffered the issue before and complained to staff. Tesco say that they are short-staffed and close "Scan as you shop" to relieve pressure on staff who are working. They also give Covid as the reason they are short-staffed.But Tesco are a major UK supermarket chain and Covid problems started in 2020 in the UK. Tesco has had ample time to adjust to recruitment difficulties and also to Covid issues.Just not good enough!P.S. My family are very good customers of Tesco as our Tesco Clubcard points attest. And we're very loyal customers to our local supermarket too.
