Great hotel with modernised rooms confortable beds and Great showers although step in and out of Bath not easy if under 6 foot tall. Brewers Fayre good value and good quality. Staff in hotel and restaurant both very friendly and helpful. Could not complain better service than many non budget establishments.
Rooms: All that is required.
Food and drinks: Decent breakfast and food standard consistent. Staff very helpful.

The hotel is located quite far from the city center and is not particularly easy to reach by public transport. There is a bus stop in the immediate vicinity and from there a bus connection to the bus station, but only during the day and so we also had to take connections that took us 15-20 minutes to walk. The location of the hotel is pretty quiet. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed during our stay and there was no hot breakfast on 2 of 3 days, but the money was credited to us without any problems. There are no restaurants/supermarkets within walking distance of the hotel. But the employees were very nice and everything in the hotel was clean. Only the smell in the room was musty and the bathtub had big scratches, and the tap water tasted really strange.

Very clean and well maintained . Staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. The only annoying part of the stay was the attached restaurant was closed (I was told it closed on a Monday) so I had to travel elsewhere for food.

I stay here weekly & it's incredible! Sam & Gareth are amazing and make me feel so safe when I am working away from home! Nothing is ever too much trouble! I have been doing this for 18 months and have already booked the next 6 months!
I love my weekly stays at this fantastic hotel with the friendliest staff! Constantly going over and above on every visit!

A slightly disappointing stay. Booked last minute so not much choice, however I?m a regular booker at Premier Inn.
Air conditioning throughout the hotel was not working due to the refurbishment works, and the windows did not open, so the rooms were like a sauna during temperatures of around 15 degrees. Bathroom fan also not working.
Restaurant was closed in the evenings for a time, and even only offered continental breakfast one day. Reason being is Brewer?s Fayre - who operate the restaurant - are in financial dire straits so all the staff have left. The situation is likely to continue.
Rooms: We had the premie plus room. Rooms are well kept, except for the coffee machine which hasn?t been cleaned out for a while judging by the gunk that came out on first use. We were provided with a fan instead of air con but that just blew hot air into our faces all night. We found we needed to keep the bedroom door open to the corridor to cool the room down. The only water that was provided was a couple of small waters on the mini fridge for a 5 day stay.
Walkability: Footpaths into the city and around the area are all paved properly with crossings on the right places. Good for a walking city break and being out of town.
Food and drinks: Drinks good, food good. Restaurant was clean, however availability may be sketchy for a time due to the lack of staff due to Brewer?s Fayre?s financial issues. If you don?t plan on eating there, it?s not really an issue.

I'veStayed in premier Inns all over the UK and Ireland Monday to Friday with work for the last 12years no restaurant on site like most premier inns now! And it didn't mention it on the website or when checking in!! It's like someone new that's running the company and don't have a clue! Also the phone signal at this hotel is terrible!!!
Food and drinks: No restaurant on site!!!

So disappointing most of the place is a building site, rooms are stuffy and have a mixed smell of paint and cigarettes. After you book your told local restaurant is closed and Premier Inn recommend Link 47 restaurant just 5 minutes away, wish we'd went to McDs instead. Place was full so I was expecting a great meal, eh no the food wasn't great and the rest of my day was spent visiting the toilet, stay clear of Link 47.
Later in the day we tried local pizzeria, half pizza was burnt, garlic bread was ok and chips dire. Couldn't eat this in bar so sat in room.
Not much to do around Premier Inn on this location but staff are good and helpful.
Bedsheets were ripped and bathroom tap so noisy.
With aircon on all night it was still roasting, so disappointed with our stay.
Rooms: Plenty of charge points with nothing to set device on.
Small round table so dangerous for kids. Windows don't open so the stuffiness will sicken you.
Nearby activities: Shop, Chinese and awful pizzeria
Food and drinks: Drinks with no atmosphere
Noteworthy details: Maybe in 2025 this place will be worth it as of now stay clear.

It is with a great amount of sadness that I write this review about a incident we had on Sat 29th June. We have been coming to this premier inn since 2009 from South Africa and have always enjoyed our time here. The Inn itself is looking tired but I believe a makeover is imminent. One of the reason we chose to stay is that the restaurant Brewers Fayre is on site we had a total 4 rooms booked & had a family gathering planned only to find out that the restaurant would not be open as their is no staff. So we asked if we could get some pizzas to eat (we needed to remain close to rooms as we had 4 children under 2)& would be making full use of the bar. We asked several people a total of 3 times to be told they would get back to us which they never did. We returned from our day out & had more local family join us ordered our pizza from across the road & were then very rudely told we could not eat it inside, if it had been done quietly & discreetly not like storming Norman in a sand desert people would have taken it better. We went to sit outside to eat our pizza & enjoy our drinks. Then to our total surprise we go to the bar the next evening for a drink(restaurant still closed)with people sitting eating pizza, with no intervention from the staff at all who were all sat at a table in the bar.
