Ordered a sofa being told 2 week delivery, this has changed every time we get near delivery date, now dates 14 weeks since we placed order.

I am writing this review as someone who was quite disgruntled by this company a few days ago. I had been promised by the DFS call centre that my delivery was booked for 1 Feb but when I called for an update on the morning of, it had been pushed out to 10 Feb with no warning. Having tried speaking to advisors at their call centre, I got nowhere and found the staff very unhelpful (bordering on rude). We then went to the store to see if they could do anything and got speaking to Emer. Well - she is the reason I am leaving a 5 star review! She was absolutely fantastic from the start; understand and genuinely helpful. She went out of her way to get our issue sorted and managed to get our furniture delivered just a few days later! Not only that but she kept chasing the delivery guys and kept us updated - just fantastic customer service. Emer is an absolute asset to your store, an excellent member of staff. Without her, this would have been a very different review. Faith in DFS now restored!

I had a fantastic experience at the DFS store at crescent link. Mostly thanks to the staff member Emiear. She was super helpful, friendly and extremely knowledgeable!

Bought a sofa a few years ago. Had to get it repaired as it was creaking, was fixed at the time.. Creaking has started again and I reported it in March. The engineer has been scheduled three times to come to fix the repair and three times sent to a previous address 25 miles away so visits/repair had to be cancelled. The message to confirm apt time comes late in the evening before so I have lost three days of work over this. I made an official complaint and requested resolution. All I was offered was an apology and told there was nothing they could do about it. The sofa has lost its shape over the last couple of years, with this now the second time having to get the same thing repaired and now this with the engineer it's an absolute joke, the customer service is shocking!

Nice looking furniture, but value for money or quality it is not!Things haven't changed much. I bought a sofa from DFS 10 years ago, which we binned after 5 yrs. Went in thinking it was £1200 from online prices, but by the time we left, we were over £2000 in a hole. Fibre filled as opposed to foam filled, scotchguarding, insurance etc etc.Last visit, I overheard the exact sales techniques as were used on us 10yrs ago. 4yrs interest free is now 3yrs, which at the prices being charged would be needed for most purchases and guessing the interest has already been worked into the prices.Always nice to see what they have and compare to the local shops that maybe aren't as flashy but dont rip customers off as much. The type of shop that brings in the better product and also the less expensive but then offers you the option of the cheaper one rather than the DFS route that suckers you in with what appears a great deal but then upsells you before signing you up to a contract that would scare a solicitor.

I take it this DFS in Cresant link don't want any sales as they cant seem to open their doors at 10am should change their opening hours to 10:30

I ordered my bed and paid for it on 8th Feb this year, I am still waiting for delivery. This is outrageous - I have rang many times since, only to be fobbed off! We had relatives staying with us during the Easter break with the obvious inconvenience this caused. My partner and myself have been sleeping on a mattress on the floor since 28th March when they said it would be here, both of us have joint and back pain as a result - please can anyone help us with this dilemma - a very very disappointed customer - Donna Crumlish

Very nice staff. Unfortunately the delivery experience was appaling. Waited two months only for delivery to be cancelled twice the day before delivery. They also seem to do something where they don't call you but send you a text to say they tried. Then you have to call their call centre. Very frustrating.

Great store and very helpful staff I got my corner sofa and 2 seater of them and they were great especially emiher I definitely will be back in the future to them couldn't ask for any better service ?
