“New shop has a great selection of food and also has a butchers and petrol station on site. The petrol station also has an air pump for your tyres which I have used on a number of occasions. The shop has manned checkouts as well as self service tills as well. They have a good fresh food section as well as pre made chilled meals like lasagne etc. They also have a large frozen food selection as well. The new shop is a much needed upgrade.”
“An enormous thanks to Mary and her team who catered the food for my sons 40th and my grandsons 18th. Mary and her team stayed late on Saturday 15th March to ensure the food was piping hot and at its best. That is sheer dedication and pure professionalism. All the food was clingfilmed and tin foil wrapped so all I had to do was transfer it to my hot chafers. The menu was chicken curry, rice, chilli beef nachos, lasagne, vol au vents, salt and chilli chicken, caesar salad, chicken bites, cocktail sausages, chicken goujons, chips, chicken and mushroom bake, a whole salmon and mini desserts. Catering was for 40 to 50 people. Mary and her team excelled themselves and allowed me to have a stress free evening as a result. I shall be recommending them to everyone, as the quality of produce and food was superb. Thank you so much to Mary and her team. I will be forever indebted to you all. Jacqui”

“Very good medium sized supermarket in the middle of a housing estate. Very popular shop. It has a post office, off licence, coffee machine and excellent hot food counter. The hot food is very good value, the large sausage rolls cost just 60p and great breakfast offers. Off licence stocks a good range of Derry based craft beers with good offer when you buy 3 beers. Located on a small shopping arcade with plenty of free parking and butcher, takeaway, chemist and cash machine beside it. Close to Altnagelvin hospital, so it's very handy if you're waiting for a patient.”

“Good supermarket in Strathfoyle, just on the edge of Derry. The shop has a post office, off licence, hot food counter and Barista coffee machine. Their Cornish pasties are the best I've tasted in a long time. Located on a small shopping arcade, which includes a Boots and a cash machine.”

“Handy Spar supermarket, petrol station and car wash just off the A2 and before you get into Eglinton. The shop also has a cash machine, a good hot food counter and Barista coffee machine. They'll make you a lovely Bewley's coffee at the hot food counter, if you want a freshly made coffee. I recently noticed there's a Royal Mail post box near the car wash, mail picked up at 12.00 noon.”

“I visit mostly for lunch. Great deli and coffee. There is a good clean coffee station with free use of the flavour syrup and fresh milk. The deli staff are pleasant and the display is well stocked and very tasty. They have reasonably priced breakfasts, Sunday lunch with choice of meats and fresh salad or sandwiches. There is also an ATM, post box, an off-sales and a public toilet. Its a clean, well organised and well stocked shop. The staff are always so polite and friendly. Car park behind the store with disabled parking and wheelchair access.”

“Great big store, they don't have ALL the Spar offers on that other Spars have. Staff not ignorant if u have no mask on. Plenty of ventilation with huge front door opening steady. Please put on the offers and sell your out of date stuff more cheaper. Ron.”
