This place is great, been coming here for the past couple of years now with my family, food is great and they do a great pint too, there is a nice little beer garden you can sit and enjoy your food & drinks in the sunshine (subject to northern Irish weather) however it can be a little quiet at times, which is a shame that more people don?t come out to support local independent bars & restaurants like this one more often.

First time there, funeral ,food was excellent ?, nice place ,staff were very friendly, couldn't be more helpful, prices reasonable, very clean, toilets spotless, would go back.
Vegetarian options: Only tried a few ,seemed very nice ?
Parking: Free parking outside, we had 10 cars and had plenty of space left.
Kid-friendliness: We only had 4 kids with us ,they were kept entertained and staff were very good with them.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes we actually had a wheelchair person in our company and he said that he had plenty of space to get around

Vegetarian options: Sunday I had supper around 6pm here. There is a vegan/vegetarian menu with choices from different cuisines. I had a delicious felafel wrap.

The crafty hound is a family favourite for us, the standard of food and drinks, level of customer service, price and atmosphere is top tier, all the staff go above and beyond to cater to all needs and make you feel so welcome. Nothing is ever an issue and you are made to feel just like extended family anytime you come. Whether you?re attending one of the amazing events, visiting the restaurant for food or drinking in the bar you will not be disappointed.
Myself and my husband would regularly go down for food and then call into the bar for drinks after and since becoming pregnant I am still welcomed in the bar with a cup of tea by Jennifer every week without fail, she is an absolute credit to the premises, I wouldn?t want to go anywhere else.

Went on Saturday at 5pm..Great portions and staff but £30 for an average steak was disappointing.Lovely staff and good place for families..would recommend for cheapish and cheerful spot.

I recently celebrated a special occasion with family at The Crafty Hound (booked for 28 people) and I couldn?t express enough how amazing the venue, staff and food were. Perfect venue for family and friends with a homely atmosphere. The staff (Majella and Patrice) were extremely friendly and accommodating and were genuinely interested that we were having a good time and that everything was up to standard ? they even helped us with some decorations and seated us in an area where all 28 people were together to ensure everyone was included. The food was delicious!!!!! Portions were plentiful and it was apparent it was home cooked through presentation and flavour ? even the chef was interested in what we thought about his cooking on his walkabout. I would have no hesitation booking The Crafty Hound again for occasions or just dinner and could not recommend this pub enough. It was traditional yet seemed to cater to everyone?s tastes and needs!Vegetarian options: much to chose fromDietary restrictions: much to chose fromParking: freeKid-friendliness: oustide and insid eis kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: this was apparent
