My freezer broke down yesterday - full of food. I have been a customer of this family run store for over 40 years, so rang and received advice and genuine appreciation of my dilemma. Not only did they take time to contact the delivery van out on calls, but came TODAY after hours and dealt with a very awkward connection. For a 79 year old this is gold standard service and much needed these days for our age group. I could have saved only a few pounds going elsewhere ( I DID check the internet) - but I would have been left with a real dilemma. Well done SP!! Such courtesy and commitment to excellence deserves to be acknowledged!

We had priced washing machines and tumble dryers at Curry's. No staff to speak to us or advise , £70 delivery charge!
Went to Smyth Patterson, and Colin sorted us out with two machines, delivery and installation, and all much cheaper than Curry's.
Colin gave us so much useful information and was very patient. Smyth Patterson aftercare is excellent too - not like the bigger companies. Support your local businesses!

Brought an item back which wasn't suitable. Receipt was provided. Was treated terribly by the 2 'ladies' dealing with my return. Used to frequent this shop regularly as did my family. Will never return.

Just had a fridge freezer supplied and installed ordering from Colin was easy and in stock delivered & fitted within two days at a more competitive price than on line plus advised on the best make & model also importantly has local back up service (unlike the one that was taken out) you and your team are breath of fresh air, highly recommend 5 stars ? ????

Love this shop. Stock everything you could need. Fantastic range of products well priced. Staff are really friendly and helpful.Customer service is fantastic. I recently had a faulty product and they changed it without any hassle. The girls couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Been shopping here for years and cant fault it. Thankyou all.

Our "go to first" shop for a variety of purchases. The latest - a dishwasher as our old one had packed up. Delivery, installation and take away of old appliance charges clearly stated online. A tricky installation was handled with good grace by Gareth. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

I think it's important to support local shops.Much better than walking round your standard tesco, currys etc.I have been going to this shop since childhood and I am in my 40s now.Some really good bargains, bought a airfryer £10 cheaper than a certain online retailer.Go in and have a walk about I'm sure you will see something that catches your eye.Staff are always helpful and approachable, even a little café up the stairs.
