Not bad place to shop
March 2016 by Ciara S.
Some shopping centres just have a nice vibe about them and I find this to be the case with Sprucefield. It just feels spacious, clean, bright and pleasant to walk around. Home to some of the big, high-quality, shopping giants including M&S, Next, Mothercare and Pets at Home. However, being an out of town centre, it'll not be easy for everyone to get to, plus it can be EXTREMELY busy, especially at weekends...

Sprucefield shopping centre is a sprawling shopping centre on the outskirts of Belfast. If you are traveling up to Belfast on the M1 it's a great place to stop and recoup as my parents, sister and I did when we travelled from Dundalk to Belfast last week. The shopping centre has many parking spaces and the centre boasts: Marks & Spencer, JJB, Boots and a rather swish looking McDonald's. The Marks & Spencer is full of lovely things. It has a food hall and a pretty decent sit down restaurant and M&S cafe if you just want something small. The homewares section is vast and is full of lovely things you probably don't need, but look great anyway and there's also a vast clothes section, electrical equipment section, make-up and toiletries and a stationary section. The M&S also has two atms. The Boot's next door is pretty well stocked and carry the trendy Urban Decay and Benefit make-up lines. JJB and Mc'Donalds are also located in the complex. Worth popping into for the Marks & Spencers store.

Excellent shopping Centre. I absolutely love shopping here. It has all my favourite stores as well as a fantastic food court with ample seating and plenty of choice. You are sure to find something that you like with places like Subway, Burger King, KFC, Harry Ramsdens etc. The shops are spacious and there is plenty of variety. There is plenty of parking over a few levels so even in the rain you need not step outside! The only downside is that the toilets are located upstairs in the food court so if you are at the other end of the shopping centre it can be a pain! A great place to spend an afternoon shopping!

Since my last visit to Lisburn, the mall has expanded and changed. But it is all positive. I could happily spend an entire day in the Mall and still not cover all the shops. Thank goodness Sweety Miller is still there - I just love that shop! Lisburn has done a fantastic job on updating the mall and city centre, but maybe it is time to consider to update the roads and traffic as well. Due to the higher visitor numbers the traffic can come to a total stop and this makes the shopping experience a little bit tainted. But it certainly won't stop me!

Sprucefield is great, and a really asset to shopping in lisburn. It consists of Marks and Spencers, Boots, JJB Sports and MFI. A short distance away there is also a PC world and a McDonalds. There is free parking available here although it can be difficult to get a space here at busy times. Traffic is also always heavy when you're trying to leave and you sit there for ages waiting to get out at the roundabout.

to be honest i hate this place only 3 shops or so marks and sparks being the biggest my eldest boy loves the sports shop while my hubby just goes to pc world but to me the best bit is mc donalds . just of the a1 roudabout on the outskirts of lisburn lots of parking if you dont mind walking a mile from where you park. it gets rather busy though i dont know why.
