Took my bike into Kyle the really kind mechanic and he fixed my bike right away as I was in a hurry. Kyle went out of his way too resolve the issue with the gear mechanism.

Excellent advice and service when buying my bike, and more importantly excellent afterservice including a free repair after I messed my gears up trying to do it myself.You get a differnt class of service from these gentlemen than you do from a chain store. There are bike shops closer to me but travelling the extra distance is well worth it.

I can't praise these guys highly enough. I have bought a couple of bikes off them throughout the years and each time they have genuinely tried, and succeeded, in finding the best bike for my needs within my budget. They also took a trade-in at a very fair price, and have happily helped me out with any servicing needs when required. They have an excellent reputation amongst cyclists and the general public for a reason.

I was very happy when I saw these guys had the bike I wanted in stock, and could ship very quickly. I ordered it after having a nice chat with one of the team over the phone. However, when it arrived I quickly noticed that one of the head tube bearings was broken (in transit), a bit disappointed because I cycle to work and wanted to give it a go straight away. I called them and they very quickly sent out a replacement bearing - but it turned out to be the wrong one... so I had to wait a bit more after calling again so they could send the right one. Very happy when I could finally put the bike together and give it a ride. Straight away I noticed the gears weren't shifting properly and the disc brakes were not well aligned. The bike was advertised as 'fully built' with the exception of handle bars and pedals. My knowledge of bike mechanics is okay, but I didn't have the time to service it myself as I work and needed the bike ready asap for commuting. I had to take it to a bike shop and pay for it to be serviced - not what I wanted from a brand new bike...Overall, the guys at Roe Valley Cycles seemed nice, but the care that went into setting up and shipping my bike was not what I expected.

New calipers covered in rust and cable for brakes far to long with two new tyres £80 pound worst job I have ever saw, unless it's hundreds of pounds worth of.work they don't care

Left bike in last Tuesday for a full service, including Hydraulic brakes fixed, collected Friday cost £48! Got bike back to caravan , went for a short cycle and brakes failed! So disappointed, have bike home now and after a good look at the brakes, it appears they weren't even touched! All that money for nothing! Will never go near this company again! Just glad it wasn't my kids bike, it could have been much worse them going down a hill on a cliff with no brakes!
