I've been coming here for years and there are good reasons why this is the case! The staff are very friendly and down to earth. The Sunday carvery and indeed weeknight good is great value and consistently very tasty. The location is excellent. I grew up in the area and really enjoy my return visits here a few times a year.... read full comment

Excellent bistro for food in the evening, good value and friendly staff. Nice ambience in the old part of the hotel which is an historic building. Hotel room in annex perfectly clean and functional, but somewhat lacking in character.
