We stopped by The Parson?s Nose for lunch a few days ago while we were in the area, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish.
I ordered the beef blade pizza from the specials menu, and it was absolutely incredible ? the dough was perfectly crisp, and you could really taste the freshness of the ingredients. My husband went for the beef burger, which he thoroughly enjoyed, and our daughter had the fish and chips, which she completely polished off. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented ? we were genuinely impressed.
There was only one waiter managing both service and table clearing, so the food took a little while to come out, but it was worth the wait.
The bill came to around £52, including a soda and a zero beer for my husband. Great atmosphere, delicious food ? I?d absolutely love to return and try their lobster or one of the other pizzas next time!

The food is just Fab. The loaded fries are amazing. And the pizzas are just different enough to make them stand out. The egg en cocotte was so tasty and the chicken wings are up there with the best.
We also had dessert which was a rhubarb crumble, served hot , this was just tarty enough and several with ice cream, all in all delicious.
The lunch rush was over when we arrived so the place was quiet which was great for us as we sat outside with the dog.

Absolutely best meal I have had in a long time!!! We all left saying how fantastic it was.....hadn't been in a while and now I wonder why. Would definitely go back the food was unreal. Brilliant Chef ???

I love this place it?s a gastro pub that you would happily travel to I?ve eaten here several times and never been disappointed, Dog friendly as well. Lovely sourdough pizzas proper ingredients we had the pizza of the special menu and the pork schnitzel special as well which came with insane braised potatoes in a mushroom stock so much flavour with the parsley sauce. the loaded fries with ox cheek aged Parmesan and truffle mayo it?s a must try restaurant.

We stayed at the lodge overnight and went for breakfast at the parson nose. The staff were very friendly but sadly, the cooked breakfast was cold. The scrambled egg was like rubber. Not a great meal at all.

First time being here, having visited many of Hillsboroughs other restaurants quite a lot.
Grabbed a quick lunch with friends/family - 3 orders of chicken wings & 2 flat breads to share. Done the 3 of us perfectly.
The wings don't look much, but decent enough portion for the price, especially at lunch time. Well cooked and sauce was great. Flat bread was maybe a bit overdone, but that could be the nature of how thin some parts were. Would definitely come back to try some mains at dinner time.
Staff were brilliant, although seems to be a bit of a quieter spot atmosphere wise - or maybe we're just loud ????
Parking: On street parking, sometimes get lucky parking close by.

We had a special event party at The Parsons last Friday. The team could not have done more to make the day special for us. Dave and team did an amazing job. The attention to detail, the extra care and level of service, the atmosphere and the approach of the staff? It was all just perfect. If I could give these guys 7 stars I would. What an amazing team. Thank you Dave - you are worth your weight in gold.

Lovely place, the menu looked incredible but I settled on the pizza. It was amazing, so flavourful, it was the peperoni but also had some spicy meat on there as well, just fantastic!
