My only complaint was closed tonight and we had to John Dorrys for a dry as snuff fish with rock hard batter
Chip Hawker get it consistently right, soft and moist in the middle with a softer batter with light crisp outside

I order the gourmet burger with bacon and cheese. It was the best burger ive eaten in years! The guys in there were super friendly too. Highly recommend!

Got a goujon supper which included 3 greasy goujons (batter fell completely off the chicken and tasted like fish) a tiny amount of chips which tasted good, just a tiny portion overall for nearly £12 including a dip (if your stuck here only get the small dip as you?ll run out of food first)

First time back at Chip Hawker from it?s been under new ownership and have to say the food was top notch. Service was excellent. Couple of bones in the fish but isn?t a massive issue.

Heard about the Festive Foods that are available in this chippy so thought i would try them out.The festive feast that they have, oh my word it is AMAZING. It comes with battered chicken, ham, stuffing, chips, cocktail sausages and gravy. You can have cranberry sauce and veg if you like. The portion size is fantastic for the price, you will definitely not be hungry after eating this. My husband got a fish supper, again the fish was cooked to perfection, lovely light crispy batter teamed with really tasty chips.The shop has a lovely feel about it with a lovely Christmas display.The staff are polite and courteous and very well organised. Very busy place but with the food we received I can 100% understand why.We will definitely be back again, it is worth the drive from Moira
