Last 3 meals I've had have been dreadful, I had a really greasy soggy fish a few months ago and now I've just had undercooked chips, flavourless chicken burger with soggy batter. The dog ate well tonight. Seriously, do better ffs

First time here. Didn't realise we have to go up to till for order until we seen others people did it. Missed out one of our drinks, have to re-order, nearly forgot to pay on way out until we saw the glare from staff. Fish and chips is well worth the price, salted chilli chicken has too much pepper that ruined it. Lunch meal is nice. Parking would be a problem there.

First time using the mobile app. Delivery time in app said 40 minutes. Left it 1 hour before ringing the restaurant as I appreciate they can be busy. Staff said that food hadn?t even left them yet. No good will gesture offered for the delay. I was just told I could cancel the order. I think if you are an app based order service you should at least ensure that delivery times are accurate.

Disappointed !! No chips delivered with the honey chilli chicken . Hardly any steak on the kebab and chips, spice bag had very little veg Half an hour late over the delivery time. Told me they would send a refund in cash for the missing items never received it

Ordersd chicken gougons meal for daughter came with no chips try.d to ring to say to them... could not get through phone mustve been taken of hook.. if your prepared to take peoples money then have the decency to keep your lines open for people to make complaints. Talk about takeing your money run..

Place seems a nice bright and popular location. Do quite a few different things. I went for a cod at lunchtime. Was a fairly decent piece of cod although size of fish is down everywhere. Like many places I visit in the area though, the batter was too thick and not crispy. I'm not sure if they're trying to compensate for smaller fillets these days but I'd rather they drained the batter a bit more and cooked it to crispy. I know there will be a bit of softening on the way home normally but I ate mine a couple of minutes from the restaurant. Anyway, while it was passable I'd probably try something else next time. I did think their chips were decent though so no complaints there. Again, the place seems popular and they do a lot of specials, I just wasn't enamoured with their cod offering.

Hadn't been in the place for 2 years.
I'll never be in it again ever.
Terrible overcooked, cold food.
The people are being conned.
A lady at the next table complained about her cod, saying it was hake. She was told by the owner not to come back.
Such great customer service. NOT.
When I think back to the glory days of Billy and Maggie Twyford It was a pleasure to eat there.
How these owners get away with their attitude and rubbish food is a mystery.

Best chippy about. Don?t have many pics but their scampi and chips is amazing, I really enjoy their pizzas too! Chippys in general are fairly expensive now but this place is fairly reasonable all things considered.
Defo out chippy of choice atm!

Always enjoy The Captain's Table. Food and service are excellent for a chippy. One thing would improve the experience - sqeaky clean table surface and cutlery. But this certainly won't put me off eating there again and again.

I went to the Captain's Table in Glengormley for lunch and I had to try the legendary Kings Envelope. It's basically a calzone with kebab meat and chicken kebab. I got a large one (normal and extra large ones are also available). I'm happy to say that it was great! I really enjoyed it! Next time I get one I will ask for extra sauce or mayo as a dip. This would enhance it even further. After eating this I did not need anything else for the rest of the day. My friend had salt and chilli chicken with chips which she really enjoyed. The menu here is extensive so there is something for everyone. I recommend you give it a try.

We had fish supper with gravy and southern fried chicken and chips today which was excellent , my cod was nice and big and tasted super, very good service too .
Well worth the money.
