Colin and his Team have just made me bench cushions for a window seat, scatter cushions, recovered kitchen stools and recovered cushions for dining chairs they have done a great job. I am very happy with them all and they look great. Glengormley Upholstery have a great range of fabric to choose from. I found Colin and all the team very helpful and pleasant to deal with. I highly recommend Glengormley Upholstery and will definitely use then again.

We have used Glengormley Upholstery on several occasions over the years, to either recover or, recently, repad the cushions of our suites. We have always found Colin and the team to be professional, friendly and very helpful. Ths work has always been of a high standard and they are very competitively priced. Tried calling and emailing since November about a headboard needing reupholstered, no replies, no answer, no return call nothing.

On 9/4/23 - the recliner cable on our sofa snapped and I sent an email to Glengormley Upholstery for a quote to repair. This I received very quickly and after agreeing price, agreed to go ahead. A week later, the owner himself called to make the repair, discovered he needed a shorter cable and left promising to get back soon. Several weeks later and no sign of him, I phoned again - no apology and excuse was that cable had just arrived from China. He called a few days later but couldn?t get the cable to fit and left promising to get back in a week or so. Needless to say, several weeks later, I telephoned again only to be told the cable had just arrived from China. A few days later he called with the 2nd new cable and still couldn?t work out how to fit it. Again he left and promised to get to the bottom of things and call back in a couple of weeks to finally repair the cable. I gave him 3 weeks and then contacted Belfast Furniture Repairs. Robert called within a week, replaced the cable within 15 mins and as an extra did some leather ?painting? on sofa.I appreciate this is long winded but for me, persistent over promising and under delivering is not acceptable service nor is a complete lack of communication. As of today (24/9) GU have not made one call to update me on progress. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
