Lovely cottage and a very pleasant stay
November 2020 by Louise Whan
We stayed at The Cottage in October 2020. The Cottage is the perfect location to explore the sites of Fermanagh. The Cuilcagh boardwalk Trail is only a 10 minute drive away. The Cottage is beautifully decorated and was well equipped with everything that we needed for our stay. Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds with extra pillows and plenty of towels. Sonya the owner kept in touch before our visit to put our minds at rest about the COVID safe measures in place at The Cottage, which were very thorough.By booking directly with Sonya through her website, on arrival there was a welcome basket which provided us with breakfast the following morning. Plus the Prosecco was very welcome to start our break away after a long drive. The homemade orange cake was delicious and provided us with the energy to complete the Cuilcagh Trail. Sonya was extremely helpful prior to our visit providing restaurant recommendations for my partner's birthday celebrations. It was such a lovely personal touch that on knowing that we were on a birthday break away, Sonya had left a birthday card along with birthday candles for the orange cake, which we enjoyed very much. All these extra personal touches made our stay at The Cottage extra special. We would love to visit again, maybe in the summer to enjoy the decking area and garden. Thank you Sonya

The Cottage Belcoo is an absolute gem. Every detail has been thought out meticulously- from the decor to the homemade scones in the kitchen. We felt totally at home to the point of not wanting to leave! It is a perfect base to explore the nearby Cuilcagh mountains, the Marble Arch caves and surrounding geo park and the beautiful Florencecourt stately home and gardens.
