We are blessed to have the religious order of the Sisters of Mercy living in a beautiful Convent just off Belmore Street in Enniskillen. For many years the nuns taught the Catholic education in both the primary & secondary schools in the town & led the way for lay people to take up those teaching posts & continue the good work that was founded by the Mercy nuns. The Convent Chapel is a beautiful place to attend Mass - it is publicly celebrated there every Monday evening at 6pm. There are beautiful stained glass windows in the Chapel that come to life when the sun streams through them - it is a very peaceful & prayerful place to come to pray. The nuns in the Convent are very welcoming & are still very much involved in Parish work & in Church Ministries.
