Afternoon Tea for our 20th wedding anniversary. Lovely spot with great views. Our server, Nuala; is always polite and has been at the resort for many years. We always get a chat, and Nuala is great at recommending teas (lots to select from).Have to say, we?ve been coming for afternoon tea for over 10 years, and quite regularly as well, so a tad disappointed that one, the price has now increased to £34 per person for the standard afternoon tea, and there?s also a 10% surcharge added to the bill which we hadn?t noticed before, and two, the servings are definitely smaller. So a price hike and less for your money? (Plus server tip which is of course voluntary). Will we go back?.usually we wouldn?t hesitate to say yes, but?.the price increase, surcharge and smaller portions would make us think twice.

I have only guessed at rooms as only dropped in to see it and have a coffee as we might stay here next time. The staff are so courteous and helpful, the building is in a beautiful setting - and the coffee was excellent too!

Lough Erne Resort is a gorgeous setting for a wedding. I've had the pleasure of photographing so many weddings here! The opulent building, both inside and outside transcends to the amazing landscaped grounds. The views are magnificent, especially at sunset at the reed bridge. If you are considering having your ceremony at Lough Erne Resort, I'd highly recommend an outdoor ceremony, the setting is sublime! The staff will ensure you and your guests receive fantastic service on your day. I'd highly recommend Lough Erne Resort for a wedding!www.darrynjbradley.co.uk

Loved everything about this resort. Kicking myself now that I didn't bring my golf clubs with me. Stayed in the Lough side Lodge on a winter 2 night deal with B & B. My wife and I ate both nights in the hotel, first night in the Lough side grill and second night just had the bar food and both were excellent. Waiters were very attentive and knew their job in both locations. Our room had a very large sitting room and dining area with excellent views over Lough Hume and the 17th hole of the Nick Faldo Course. Even though it was winter the 2 days we stayed were more like Spring days. Bought this for the wife for Xmas and she loved it to bits. We will definitely be returning again and hopefully get the same room, lodge 7 room 1.

We came here for Sunday lunch, food was good although portions were a little small, service was very good but the room was stone cold, ok it was January but there appeared to be no heating in the dining room and they seemed to be relying on warmth coming from the open fire in the bar next door which was wholly inadequate.

We went to the Lough Erne for a Spa Treatment that the other half snapped up in a Black Friday Sale. The grounds on which it is situated are absolutely stunning, the hotel looks is unbelievable! Any staff member we spoke to were incredibly polite and well spoken!

We had a great stay with our family over the Christmas but it didn't feel like a 5* hotel, we had mould in our berries in one of our drinks, 2 small hairs found in 2 of our dinners in the restaurant and the staff were rude about it when we pointed it out, we were to nervous to point out the second hair, our lodge had swollen Wood around our sink from the water that was covered in mould. The spa had ripped seats in the area where we should have been able to relax and the unit doors were stained with dirt, the staff in the spa were so nice and accommodating, the hotel staff were very nice and the food in the hotel was okay. We had a lovely time but I think ill be going elsewhere next year. It was a shame. because its 5* our expectations were high. We didn't complain as we didn't want to bring down the mood and we made the best of it.

Theme of our 1 night stay was poor service in a lovely hotel for our party of 7. Appeared to have staffing issues which unfortunately became our problem. A few examples.... Check in could not be accommodated until 5pm, when you're paying nearly £300/night this is quite poor. Subsequent rush to get ready for dinner, arrive and table not ready. Told to sit a bar. No one at bar to serve. So we sit there and lament the poor start to the trip. Meal takes roughly an hour between each course. Several items on menu not available. Standard of food was poor. See main course Caesar salad below. These where the more frustrating issues. To compound these, the 'guest service executive' was rude to another member of the party on phone call to resolve issues. On the plus the course was in great condition , shout out to the greens keepers. However 5 phone calls to the pro shop to organize collection of a club left behind and ask if rain check an option as we got rained off on 6th hole still produced no answer. Repeatly told Barry will contact me but on the last hostile call apparently guest services had got involved and they would be sorting it. No word from them naturally. Rain check would be nice but not expected, just want to make arrangement to retrieve my club.Wait a week and call guest services, explain frustration about the service from start to finish and was irritatingly asked 'so what was wrong with your stay, was it the weather you had a problem with?'If you didn't laugh you'd cry. If you could rate the service in terms of caesar salad it would be a lot like this one - was a long time coming, missing ingredients, overall very disappointing and left a bad taste in the mouth. Which is a shame as the set up there is lovely.A partial discount of varying amounts was offered on a future stay - no thanks. A rain check was not something they could offer 'they are not in control of the weather'.Here's hoping they gain some control of their guest service for the future. The 7 of us were going to make the Christmas trip an annual tradition, next time it will be elsewhere.

Fine dining, Amazing food and friendly but professional local staff. Wonderful experience.Fermanagh people have a very high standard in quality food. This venue couldn't be better, polished, 5 star, Christmas decor was done beautifully, tastefully. The restaurant was classy, a lovely ambient atmosphere, but not loud or brash (nor were the diners).Food & drinks: Local top quality produce, food very fine dining. Nice touches like an extra complimentary course.
