I just had my stairs and landing carpet fitted today and to say I'm delighted is an understatement.The service I received in the showroom was excellent, John couldn't have been any more helpful.Also the guy who fitted it (Gerard) was very friendly and professional and he did an absolutely fantastic job.Thanks guys, I'm over the moon and will definitely be back ?.

Left a carpet in to be binded last week and was told it would be ready early this week. After I didn't hear back from then rang and was told it would be ready on Thursday. Heard nothing again and rang them that afternoon, I was then told it would be ready by 12 on Friday and to come then and get it. Drove up on my break to get it and found a locked shop, rang them and they told me they would ring me back in 10 minutes. Again didn't bother to ring me back. When I finally got into the shop 45 minutes later was told they hadn't even done it yet. Absolute nightmare to deal with and don't care less about their customers. The man in the shop denied he had spoke to me the day before and said it must of been someone else which was complete lies. Took my custom somewhere else. Would give them zero stars if I could

I got my entire house fitted with John Young carpets. He was to come back to finish my wooden floor. He never did any of the edges for any of the wooden floor, none of the beading at all. The joining from hallway to living room has lifted, the middle of the hall is also lifting because no gap was left to allow the wood to breathe. The vinyl floor in bathroom has massive bubble in middle of floor. He refuses to respond to messages and will not answer any calls. I would advise anyone thinking of using this place to look elsewhere. Big mistake I made was paying the entire job when he hadn't finished it. The only positives were the mattresses I bought and bunk beds which were of great quality. Extremely poor service.

I have given 1 star only because I can't give none. I placed an order on the 19th January, received order confirmation straight away. On the 26th January I messaged asking when I was likely to receive my order. I was told they hadn't received it and asked to send a screen shot, which I did, I also resent my address. On the 28th I again asked if there was any update, to be told it had been posted and I would receive it the beginning of the following week. I didn't. I messaged again on the 4th Feb asking for tracking details, No reply. I rang on the 7th Feb to be told they would ring me back, again nothing. I sent another message on the 8th Feb but again no one could be bothered to reply. Its now the 15th Feb and no order has been received. The customer service is absolutely shocking and I would advise people to avoid them. Luckily I paid via PayPal and can claim a refund through them.

These are the type of people who roll in money because they rob people and don't have a care in the world also the type to have venerable people working for them for penny's and talk behind people's back calling them junkies and not knowing the illness they have avoided like the plague or covid

Carpet continues to lift when hoovered. It was fixed once after the original fitting but a few months later it continues to pull off the nails and away from the wall. It was also cut short on the stairs in multiple places and the underlay is visible.Customer service was poor. Would not recommend.

We wanted to shop locally during the pandemic to support local businesses. We bought 3 bedrooms, 2 landings and 2 sets of stairs worth of carpets.From the day the carpet was fitted, it is tethered and coming away at the stairs and skirting boards. The strips of carpet were cut too short. Underlay is visable in multiple places. You can feel large lumps under the carpets, we actually thought the fitter had dropped coins under the carpet. Customer service wasnt great, it was hard to get in contact with anyone.This is a sincere review, im not overly fussy and it's taken me a year to write this. It's just frustrating as an average household to budget and put a large sum of money towards poor work.
