Asda stores Downpatrick is closed for the foreseeable future due to structural damage caused by the floods. Asda will provide a shuttle bus to bring pensioners to Asda Portadown twice a day. Times of buses are still to be arranged.

Shelves not full of products and fruit/veg have poor dates

Shopped various tines of the day and don't get all the items I required due to many empty shelves and limited choice.

Great if you enjoy chasing your trolley around the fruit and veg section - the floor is on a wonk so you can't leave it without it rolling across or down the aisle. Have anything in your trolley? Enjoy fighting against the slated floor trying to push it uphill and around corners. The store also just has a really poor layout and really poor selection of items. Rubbish.

Where do I begin? Lol. Okay so I've always went to asda, and lately it's gone downhill. £60 would normally be a big shop for my husband, our pets and I but now that's just a basic shop for the week. That's with me getting asda's own brand stuff too. We've cut back on a lot of things we used to get. Used to be we'd do a big shop then just top up every week with fresh food.Pretty sure the staff don't really care. A lot of them seem to put better date stuff out the front and naturally everyone is going for that, so then when that date comes round there's just out of date stock. I've lost count of the amount of times I've grabbed out of date products that are months by...Also please check your receipts if you're getting deals. Last time I was in I got dog treats, 3 for £3. I use the app and seen it was bringing up the deal but not actually taking it off the total. Had to get a staff member to change the total at the till. Some times the app won't bring up the deal. Other times staff put products in the wrong place or label them wrong. Seems like asda wants you to think you're getting a deal but they're just taking your money.Thinking about going elsewhere for food shops because asda is getting worse.

Used click & Collect quite a lot. I'm disabled & staff are always helpful & respectful. Couldn't fault them. Thank you to the staff who have helped me, really appreciate it. I couldn't live as independently without your help.

Absolutely useless - picked up a meal on my way home for a day out. Got home (15 miles away) and found it was 4 days out of date. Tried to call them, but their phone line just tells you to go online and dumps you off. If you go online the page tells you to speak to your store. Only option seems to be to drive a 30mile round trip to get a replacement. I shan't be back.

Its was a big store, but expected more clothing than there was. We bought drinks and snacks, and used the self service checkout.

Loved shopping here until a rude racist checkout lady shouted at me on 2 separate occasions in front of a que of people!!She has also been rude to my wife and daughters on more than one occasion. Our crime being English. We shop in Ards now and nobody cares who we are!Nobody should have to put up with racsism!
