This isn't directed towards the staff of Argos Downpatrick, I'm criticising the policies of the company. I didn't like their decision to remove catalogues in 2020, although their in store kiosks are useful. They have a ridiculous store policy of age verification on gaming products; I was asked for ID just to buy a 12 rated game even though I'm an adult. I'm aware of the problems customers ran into for store returns. I don't buy electrical appliances here.

I bought a cordless vacuum on the 12th of September and went to return on Thursday 16th due to no suction. The so called manager preceeded to try out the vacuum then informed me no suction and he could do nothing about it I had to contact Vax for a reference number., who told me I didn't need one . Brought it back again tills not working and the 3rd time asked again for reference number . Argos really needs to sort out their staff especially managers and train properly. Unacceptable customer service.

The staff in here are a joke, I work in a senior corporate role for one of their competitors and I can safely say their customer service is amateur, no stock, terrible systems, wont give refunds (which is against the law) rude staff, incompetant manager that really cannot manage is staff....the staff swan around like they are on hols while I waited for 1hr to pick up an order. Seriously full of jobsworths , if they had a UK manager it would be a different story! The area manager should be ashamed of the lack of training and customer service and bullying in this store

Ordered a digital download from Argos that should have arrived within 2hrs, 24hrs and still waiting. Customer service was useless, said they couldn?t do anything about it!!

Dont make big purchases from this store, the manager is incompetent and bullied by his staff who are local downpatrick jobsworths .....they refused to refund my purchase because of a dog hair on the packaging.....so be careful , they do not like refunding purchases even thoughy customers have a legal right to do so with a recipt .... BOB the jobsworth with not a GCSE to his name thinks he owns Argos, how disappointed he is going to be next week

Awful customer service, they will not refund you, they are only offering gift vouchers which means they are closing down soon, so make sure you dont buy anything from argos.

Cannot collect items without your Argos card apparently. Fair enough if it needs to be scanned but they made me drive in and out just to peek at it. All the while I have my account open on my phone and my ID with me... They only hire the best and brightest in here eh

This is not directed at Argos Downpatrick but there online home delivery. A few months ago ordered baby stuff. Some didn?t come, stuff missing via yodel. I can safely say I will not be using them again after 20 years a customer. No accountability, apology or compensation.

Great little store. Always lots of staff around and if you're using the machines to browse and pay, they will check that everything is okay and offer assistance.Wait time for your items is never too long and there's ample parking.

Paid for 2 items. In stock when I checked and paid online. Got to the shop and only one item was available. Been little to no help getting the other item. Cant just goto a different shop and pick it up. Have to contact corporate.
