The food at The Emperor Chinese Restaurant in Downpatrick was extremely disappointing and nowhere close to authentic Chinese cuisine. The chicken balls, chicken strips, beef curry, and Singapore chow mein lacked flavor and tasted bland. It seemed like they hired a Chinese person to create the impression of authenticity, but the food fell far short of expectations. I paid £65 for the meal, and it was not worth it at all.

Great Chinese but 5er corkage. Bring it down and you'll do great as your beef curry is fab . A great Hidden gem. The young girls are so attentive and have great service skills .

Ordered beef curry worst I've ever had. It most certainly didn't taste like meat from a cow to me.The windows were really dirty. Switch on the wall behind us same. Never again
