Tried to have a late lunch in the lobster pot restaurant. Shown to a table for two but then completely ignored by 3/4 young girls. Another couple asked twice for there order to be taken but also didn?t have any success placing their order. Left after 15/20 mins with no offer of food or drink. Previously had better service on an earlier visit

Lovely little secluded town for Sunday lunch, food was beautiful as was the location, never booked and they went out of their way to accommodate us !
Definitely worth a visit... will definitely be back.

Food was outstanding. I had the battered cod. Perhaps the best I've ever had. So soft, it fell apart on the fork. Delicious!

Had dinner this evening with my 93 year old dad and my brother.
I had Cod and chips, dad and my brother had scampi.
Food was superb, service was very good and the atmosphere was lovely.
Our experience was very positive.

was there on Sunday very disappointed staff weren't very explanatory about going to bar to place order and pay we sat in beer garden. a long time before a staff member told us what to do, my husband got large plate of mussels, no bowl for shells definitely changed times at the lobster pot

Unfortunately we had an unpleasant experience here this past weekend. Our sirloin steaks were all way overcooked, chicken goujons inedible and the staff seemed more interested in chatting to each other than serving guests. Would not recommend unfortunately.

Disastrous experience.
We were part of a large party and placed a pre-order.
We had to wait a hour for the food to start to arrive. Two of the kids meals were forgotten about and we had to wait another 20 mins for those. 1hr 20mins for children to receive food on a pre-order!
My main course was OK, but I was so hungry, we were just glad to have something to eat. My side order was under cooked.
The table service was near non-existent.
We have eaten here on several occasions, and never experienced anything as shambolic as this.
I doubt we'd be back when there are other, better options, in the town.
Awful.

The lobster was so fresh and juicy, serving with a decent butter sauce and crispy fries. Finally, had a Guinness in the wood old-pint glass back me up to GOT.

Decent wee pub with Friendly Staff that is dog-friendly, good Guinness and the Seafood Chowder was superb!
Jukebox was poor, didn't have the hits of Artists I liked but had their more obscure tracks.
£10.40 for a Pint of Gunness and a Blue WKD.
