Do not trade with platform you don't know about and even if you are sure of it don't trade more than you can afford to loss.I lost a lot trading with a scam broker who I tend to give a better profit return

Friendly staff, good selection of good quality bathrooms and they worked with me to stay in budget. However, they appear to be understaffed leading to substandard customer care.The communication is very poor with the onus on the customer to chase answers. If you email with questions, you often don't get a response. If you phone, the person you speak with is unlikely to be the person dealing with your order so they won't know the answer. If you turn up, you'll find yourself part of a queue of people (similarly chasing answers) and have to wait half an hour to answer a 2 minute question.There were also issues with timely delivery. I paid for the bathroom in full on 29th March. I was told that nothing had a long lead time so there should be no issue with delivering on 21st April for work to commence on 24th April. However, only half the sink (basin but not the pedestal) and half the toilet (seat, no cistern) was delivered. I was informed about part of the sink being missing but not the toilet. This was discovered by the plumber. Whilst it didn't slow down the fitting of the bathroom (primarily due to unreliable tradespeople), it made the plumber's job challenging as he had to contact the manufacturer to get the specifications so he would know where to put pipes which, ultimately, is time I will be invoiced for despite it being due to Bassetts' mistake. After 2 weeks, there had been no proactive communication from Bassetts regarding the missing items (had they arrived? when would they be delivered?) and no apology for the mistake so, again, it was down to me to chase them.Overall, a very mixed experience.Am I happy with my bathroom? Yes.Would I shop with Bassetts again?No, I had 'shopped around' prior to ordering so I know I can get the same quality and price elsewhere with better customer care. I only ordered from Bassett's as they were local so I thought they would be easier to deal with them in the long run.Would I recommend Bassetts? No.

Very pleasant exoerience today at this store. I couldn't find waste pipes at either McBlairs or JP Corrys (both great stores too) so came here. The man who served me was corteous, knowledgeable and within minutes had exactly what I want 15m of soil pipe, bends and connectors. Helped me to the car with them.Top marks for service and would defintely use them again.

Response to Bassetts response:The "installation problems" you describe were as a result of the store sending the incorrect items 3 times from the store. The bath and the shower screen provided were not what were ordered. As I had not seen what Bassetts were sending until both were installed, you then refused to fix the store errors. I provided the measurements, drawing of the bathroom and relied on the "expertise" of your store to send what was needed. The shower screen you sent first did not fix and neither did the second screen. The only way to fix the mess created by Bassetts providing the wrong bath to what was asked for, was to remove the bath and put in what I requested. You refused to do this: in other words, your claimed expertise could not be relied upon to provide goods fit for purpose. You say you have never seen a bath panel bubble but you were provided with photographs, as you were of the swelling and crumbling joints of the vanity unit you provided. Again, I repeat, I did not see the vanity in the showroom but was assured it was good quality. What should have been a simple exchange of bath, toilet and vanity unit from Bassetts has turned out to be an exercise in poor design and provision of shoddy goods. You were provided with ample photographs of the disaster that you assured me was what I was asking for. I would not advise any person to rely on the advice of or provision of goods by Bassetts, Downpatrick.If I could give zero stars I would. I quote from their website: "We pride ourselves on our industry knowledge, cutting edge bathroom designs and product selection". The reality is far from a company with industry knowledge, design or product selection.3 times the wrong products were brought to the house, the delays caused the tradies to end up trying to do my bathroom long after they had moved onto new jobs. Long story short, I now have a bath that is not what I ordered, a shower screen that does not stop the water going everywhere, a bath panel that has bubbled and cracked because it has not been sealed properly and water has soaked in, a tap that is directly over the sink plughole and has water splashing everywhere as it hits the plug and a vanity unit (charcoal) that has to be replaced after 6 months use. The vanity unit could not have been made any cheaper than what is in my bathroom (I did not see the unit in the showroom otherwise I would have seen the inadequate design for a bathroom). It has not been sealed properly resulting in the joints now being swollen and the chipboard swollen. As the unit is a dark colour, this mess is noticeable. Bassetts Downpatrick asked for pictures, were provided with pictures and now want to send an investigator out because having received the pictures of the faulty products "so they can replace the faulty goods", they now want to "investigate". I have now to replace these items from a more reputable company such as the ones that provided the shower, the bathroom mirror/shelf or the doors. I do not recommend Bassetts Downpatrick at all. Put simply, their industry knowledge, design and product selection is far what they perceive it to be ...

Worst experience and customer service ever! Do not recommend. Showroom staff are terrible, after many mistakes with the tiles I ordered and paid for in advance - how stupid am I? - now, the customer service is avoiding me. They?re conducting an ?investigation?. Absolute joke. I was forced to change my order after nobody bothered to inform me that the tiles were out of stock. Then they proceeded to deliver the wrong tiles in two different colours! They?re trying to shift blame on the supplier. Atrocious.

Terrible service from Lisburn branch. Misquoted multiple times, incorrect items delivered repeatedly and multiple items not delivered at all resulting in extra days work for plumber.

The staff are clueless the one with glass's seems like he is on drugs, I got my oil boiler from them and they sent the wrong one took me a whole day to get them to order me the right one which was delivered a week later, I would suggest going elsewhere as bassets cost more on most there products anyway.
