Partner called to collect the time they said, drove as not to waste any time, 3 minutes drive. Ordered Butter Chicken, pilau rice, onion bhajies, chicken tikka masala nan with salad.
He got home, no salad, rice was literally luke warm. Onion Bhajies half the size they used to be and cold too. Chicken tikka masala nan cold too.
I am a chef and know how kitchens work, the wee girl on the desk was trying to tell me that every order that goes out it cooked to order. Anyone who has worked in this kind of establishment will know that?s not the case with rice. The one thing that you can get food poisoning from!
Poor attitude, poor food. Such a pity as we have been using them for the last 4 years.
Won?t be ordering again.

Waiter was cheeky and I am pretty sure she went to a well to get our water since it took 45 minutes. Owner told us we couldn?t sit even though we booked and food was ok sauces were rank ???

Extremely nice staff. Food was ok flavour wise although nothing special. Strange texture, not sure what they use to thicken sauces.

The surroundings are a little bit 1975! Don?t be put off. The food is wonderful and the staff are always delightful. Remember to bring your own drinks.

Awful? 2nd order in the last 2 weekends with missing items.. no apology.. took 1 hr both timses for missing rice to be delivered.. (Chips onion bhajees Nan all cold both times by time the missing stuff arrived).. no apology.. asked for refund 2nd time as was totally fed up waiting almost 1hr 20mins for original order them a further he for a rice that was missing.. everything was binned by this point- was freezing .. all chips Nan bread etc! Rand shop AGSIN Was apologised to and told refund on its way? the missing rice turned up 1 hr later with £2 refund!!! Rang back to shop? they apologised Shein, said refund would be sent- that was 3 hrs ago! We as a family of 12, eat here regularly, every few weeks.. snd there is ALWAYS SOMETHING MISSING! I?d be ok, if they didn?t repeat it or even replaced the u reheatable food, is chips, Nan, bhajees (as they go soggie in the microwave) .. but EVERY TIME we?ve been told it?s an error, we?ve accepted it and next time.. it happens again.. so again.. half an order, wait a further hour and reheat what we already have from an hour ago! Rang back to restaurant and said £2 refund was NOT ACCEPTABLE.. they assured me the rest would be returned by delivery driver asap.. 4hrs have passed and nothing! Total disgrace! We spend on average as a family £100 per week here.. big loss to them for the sake of either cross checking, apologising again - with replacement of the unreheatable good or a refund! None of which we received. This isn?t a one of, it?s an every week issue! So that?s us moving on.. Shane cause food is nice, but service from management and organisation is horrendous and you?ll waste ur money on items you?ll not receive !!

Visited with my partner this evening. Hadn't been in about 5 years so was hoping it was still as good. Couldn't fault it all. Food was great and good service and very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back.

I have eaten here a few times lately & never left a review. To be honest I don?t know why. These people ,in my opinion how to cook great Indian meals. Nothing to much bother for them. Please don?t be put of by the decor. May not look great. But very clean. I don?t think it?s their property but doing the best with what they have. The prices don?t reflect the quality. Really very nice on many occasions. A little slow. But they are very busy( that says something) . Allow at least 30 minutes.

We use this restaurant fairly regularly for takeaway meals. However lately we have found it very hit and miss and unfortunately more miss than hit!! Tonight was particularly bad with every element of the meal bad. Sauce was tasteless, chicken chewy and not fresh tasting and the bread like shoe leather. All had to be binned. This is such a shame because when they get it right it is delicious but we do not want to be playing a lottery each week with our food so unfortunately we will just have to try somewhere else!!

It's been many years since I had food from Passage to India, but it won't be long before I go back. I didn't order in advance, which was entirely my fault and I had to wait quite a while for my order. As I sat in the area for collections, it was reassuring to see how many people had their act together and had phoned in an order. The system seemed to work really well and people came in an left quite quickly. Takeaway food, like everything else has become expensive, but our bill was considerably lower than if I'd gone to other takeaways in Ards, or Bangor. Our food was excellent, tasty and I can't wait to order (in advance by phone) again!

I have eaten out of Passage to India several times now, I absolutely love it. The chicken tikka masala is the best I've ever tasted. Everything cooked perfectly. Staff are so courteous, helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend.
