Great quality food. Cracking portions. Batter was crispy and not greasy but the inside was a wee bit undercooked on the goujons and the fish but that's a small gripe and wasnt like that on previous visits. One of the best chippies about and their American fried chicken is great.

Absolute worst takeaway I've had in a long time. The zanger burger was an awful rubber texture like it hadn't been cooked properly. The piece of chicken was greasy and inedible!
And the staff were rude, just ignored us when asked a question.
Go somewhere else!

Food in general is good but last night I went in ordered a chip and a sausage and waited 25mins and it wasn't overly busy when I said to the girl she laughed and walked away 19/06/25

Great food but the staff let the place down in so manny levels never ask would u like salt and vinegar ever . for a start they take ur order put it to back of a long que burger is made to lay under a heat light for 10 or 15 mins till they work past each ticket in fort off ur own by the time u get home its cold and of course they for get to put ur 1 pcs of afc that was included in your meal yes i think ill be going to papas from now on the staff let the shop down big time only there to rob a wage by the looks of it

I have ordered several times before reviewing. Ordered a burger with bacon cheese and salad got the skinnest burger I have ever seen with a the smallest cheese slice and a tiny bit of crispy bacon. Second time in 2 weeks not received the large chip that was ordered. Last week the gravy was missed out. They bag one order at a time it's not hard to read the receipt

The counter staff really let this place down. Food is always beautiful but getting what you order is almost impossible. I've had to get a refund on my order as tonight was the last straw. Each week something is wrong, missing or late. Either the counter staff don't care about their job or someone has a personal vendetta against me! Either way I will not be returning.

My husband has been here a few times over the years and raved about the fish and chips, so we drove down and both had fish and chips and have to say didn?t disappoint the food was beautiful and nice and hot and portions were very good, we had an ice cream after and we both left stuffed and happy, staff very friendly and place was nice and clean will definitely be back and well worth the 20 min drive from our home

We wanted something different for a Sunday dinner, and decided on a fish supper. I asked for 2 lightly battered fish, paid and took it home. The batter was really heavy and thick, like a crust, the fish was dry and tasteless. Sorry but we won't be back...

My partner and I was in tonight 11/8. We sat in. Had the Chicken Goujons and they were amazing. The staff very pleasant. Will definitely be back?
