If only I could give 0 stars ...Customer service in this place is absolutely abysmal.The owner would greatly benefit from some self reflection and training in customer service skills. The shop staff failed to provide me with the correct fitting prices despite being told numerous times what was required and they also failed to communicate the job details to the fitter scheduled. The fitter arrived to my home as scheduled and the problems came to light. When I contacted the shop to highlight the issues THE SHOP STAFF caused, I received total attitude and a raised voice from the owner for the duration of the phonecall. When I called them out on their disrespectful tone they then tried to say I was the one with the wrong tone. I was provided nothing but excuses and was informed over and over again about their staff retention difficulties. It comes as no surprise to me the shop has difficulties retaining staff when the owner finds it acceptable to speak to customers in an ill mannered tone. Having discussed this experience with a number of other people I now realise the poor customer service is long-standing. That will be my first and only time darkening that door of Portadown Carpet Centre.

Today they fitted the vinyl flooring for our back hallway, downstairs toilet and utility room. Nice job done by Paul Donnelly the fitter. Nothing too much trouble. Helped us in with the the washing machine for the utility room. Two doors needed adjusting for height. Joiner (Mark Jackson) on site to do the job within 2 hours. Very nice young fella. All in all job well done. Thank you Andrew.

Went looking a Rug and they actually made it for me. Great job at a very reasonable price. Staff very helpful

We got two different colour carpets and explained multiple times the rooms where each colour would go and they still got it wrong. Living room is the wrong colour and they didn't offer a full refund, not even half. Will never be back. The actual fitters did a great job but not happy with the customer service within the store.

Went in before Christmas picked out vinyl for my kitchen and bathroom, the sales associate said he would call me with a price ect he never did. I went back in and got the same sales associate he did apologise however the vinyl I had picked was now out of stock so I picked two more and again he said he would ring and never did. Needless to say I went elsewhere and won?t be back.

Awful customer service, left with concrete floors. Lifted old carpet because they said they?d be here and fitter was a no show. When I rang through to shop all I got were excuses. Waste of time and money

Worst customer service I have ever received from the moment I walked through the door the staff seemed not to bothered to serve me and another girl charging out of the office giving a customer a hard time for parking in the car park and telling them it?s a private car park and to move on.... not very customer friendly in times of a recession think I?ll go to chatworths in future
