Lovely spot, always enjoy a visit when I'm in Cookstown. Great that you walk in, find yourself a seat, and you are brought a menu very promptly. Loads of stuff on the menu, although I usually go for a toastie which is dead on. Prices are great, and I always find the service to be excellent. Reminds me of good old fashioned service (back from when I was a lad, blah blah blah!), which is no bad thing. Looking forward to my next visit.

Always packed, great sign, had lasagne and chips, does alot of different food, just a old style cafe that does dinners ect, lovely wee place, friendly staff.

Went for breakfast. Have been a few times and have never been disappointed yet. Staff are always pleasant and never have that long to wait after ordering.
Cannot really comment about the other meals as the few times we have been it was always for their breakfast.

Got the chicken and broccoli bake it was obviously cooked day's before and frozen, then heated up in the microwave,, same as the beef,, but the salad is not too bad

Would no recommend this place we will never be back after today. This was our third time to go into it in the past six months and it just get worse every time. Our order was taken within 5 minutes of us sitting down. We waiting for 25 minutes and still no food, all the people that came in after us were getting their food. I asked a waitress what happened our food that we ordered 25 minutes ago. We waited another 5 minutes and she didn't return. We got up to leave and she was coming with the 2 plates. Well the next people that would order a hawian burger and a chicken pennie wouldn't have to wait 30 minutes as they were already on the plates.

Went for a classic Ulster fry and their Pheasant Fry was pretty close. I swapped out the pancake for some wheaten bread. Lovely staff and service, great food, good value. Recommended.

The food is excellent and reasonably priced. The service was excellent, and the servers were very attentive while the atmosphere was that of a busy family restaurant.Kid-friendliness: They're more than happy to cater to families with small children.Dietary restrictions: They have plenty of choices for coeliacs, and they don't charge a premium catering for it either. I can't comment on other dietary requirements as I don't know, but I'm sure they do.
