Lovely food, staff couldn't do enough for you to be honest, but a number of times staff with full hands asking seated customers to open doors for them I just found bizarre. Only bar is upstairs and it was packed we ordered drinks before going into the restaurant , very unusual layout for a hotel. Food was lovely and large portions , steak highly recommended!

Good hotel with English breakfast and a sufficient selection of dishes in the restaurant to spend a week's nights/evenings here during a business trip.Not suitable for vacation, there is no pool etc. and there isn't really anything nearby.

Was at the Greenvale for a wedding last night and the food was brilliant, the room was beautiful and the staff couldn't do enough for you, Micky the owner is a true gentleman and was around all night to see to anything you needed. Absolute gem of a place and great to have it so close to home.Food & drinks: Food was brilliant no issues what so ever and the drinks was flowing.

It?s an older building but our room was on the ground floor (first floor for US residents). The room was a bit cramped (I.e. not like a motel room) but had everything we needed. Lovely private setting, friendly and efficient service. Restaurant was very good and we noticed townspeople were using it too.
