I have been shopping at tescos all my life and am ashamed to say i will be switching to lidls. this is 2 months straight were i have gone to tescos and then had to complete half of my shop else where. the expiry dates are a joke. i used to work in retail so i know you face the items with the earlier expiry dates to the front. however no matter how far back you look the entire stock of bread are out of date the next day. you then ask a member of staff and they say 'its just what we have out'. i shop on varying days so there is no way EVERYTIME IM THERE they do not have bread that expires after 1 day of purchase every time. surely one of those days would have been after or on a delivery day. who is going to buy 8 breadbuns on the 17th that expire on the 18th? who eats that many breadbuns in one day? and its not just bread, its eggs and yoghurts too. with 2 days expiry. instead of going to tescos and then lidls i will unfortunately be cutting tescos out all together as its just a waste of fuel at this point.

4 stars are for Joshua on the self checkout counter. Although one of the younger members of staff, he is an asset to Tesco and could teach the older staff members a lot about manners and customer care. On more than one occasion, Liz has been bad mannered and on a powertrip. Will only start scanning once she's finishing chatting to her colleague. Doesn't state the price of shopping and gives a condescending gesture to the screen when I ask. State the price AND gesture, for customers who may be visually or audially impaired. Has a negative attitude on a whole. If you don't like people, perhaps don't work with the public.

The Coleraine Tesco?s wouldn?t be my favourite store due to the shop not being as nice to shop in as the Tesco?s in Ballymoney. The staff in the Ballymoney shop are better trained and it?s a friendlier shop.
I have been Coeliac for six years and l find other Tesco stores like Ballymoney and Limavady have a better choice of gluten free products.
The Coleraine shop used to better in the past than it is nowadays. I would only use it as a last resort.

Can someone tell me why the security guy in Coleraine store follows my grandson and service dog around the store on a Friday night x the dog is allowed in shops and my grandson is in a wheelchair X suit him better to do his job rather than following people about x going to take this to head office

We always shop in Tesco at night, and the staff are very helpful and friendly, Carly will always open a till for us if we have a big load of shopping, she's always very helpful and polite. Also Liz and Josh at the self service tills are friendly and polite. Josh always comes over to us and asks if we'd like help to pack our shopping. Such a lovely young lad he is!

Went to Tesco to acquire some tasty marshmallows and whipping cream for a nice homemade hot chocolate. At first I couldn't find the marshmallows, looked everywhere for them but navigation isn't my strong suit. So I went up to one of the brilliant employees Robert and asked him where the marshmallows were, he knew the aisle number immediately and told me politely aisle seven. What a brilliant, brilliant employee who made my visit sensational, should be promoted! Coming back again because of him.
