On the 4 Jan I began the online 6 week block delivered by Lizzy at North Coast Pilates & Physiotherapy. I was recommended by a physio to try Pilates for my hyper mobility syndrome. I also suffer from severe PCOS and I cannot believe the difference these 6 weeks have made. I completed one class religiously each day and for the first time ever regarding exercise I have felt excited and motivated to do the workouts. It has had a positive impact not only on my physical well-being but also on my mental well-being. With everything being online, I was nervous about beginning but Lizzy has been very welcoming and so helpful. It is clear the genuine care and concern Lizzy has for all her clients. I couldn?t recommend NCPP enough ?

I sought out Lizzy 3 years ago, following years of back issues. Back then my pain levels were debilitating, significantly impacting my daily life. Iâ??d attended many Physio and Chiropractor clinics with limited results. Since contacting NCP Iâ??ve attended physio, acupuncture, matwork, mum & baby pilates & now have the strength to attend the reformer classes. Iâ??ve went from walking with a stick & having to sit down frequently when walking, to being able to push my toddler in his pram for over an hour with no pain at all. I know this is down to the professional treatment, guidance, encouragement & support of Lizzy, before, during & after my pregnancy. Add to this her friendly demeanour, good chat, bright, spacious & modern studios & youâ??re on to a winner. If you have any type of mobility issues or pain impacting you then I cannot recommend NCP enough. The physio will treat your ailment & the pilates will help reduce your chances of reoccurring injuries, providing tools to manage flare ups.

I have been doing one to one classes with Lizzy at North Coast Pilates since November and nine months later I cant believe the difference. I have had back pain for years and have had two operations over the last six years and been told I will need a third (spinal fusion). I have to admit it scared the life out of me the thought of trying it for fear of pain. Lizzy has been brilliant building up a tailored workout month by month and in the process building up confidence to be able to try and do thing that I though would have been impossible. I am not totally pain free but its a massive difference and if I'm having a bit of bad day instead of popping painkillers and laying down for the day, I'm doing Pilates to free things up and being able to get up and on with things. You couldn't ask for a more friend and professional service from someone so knowledgeable in Pilates, and its such peace of mind knowing they are all physiotherapists. Would recommend to anyone with back problems.

I have been attending Lizzyâ??s mat work classes for about 2 and 1/2 years and her reformer classes for just over a year. Prior to starting Pilates, I had severe back pain 3 to 4 times per year and my back would â??go outâ?? leaving me hobbling for 4-5 days each time. Pain relief medication didnâ??t touch the pain and I attended a physio who recommended Pilates to increase my core strength. It was the best advice Iâ??ve ever been given. I am pleased to say that I have not had any further episodes of back pain for 2 years and 2 months! I cannot recommend Lizzy and her colleagues highly enough. I will be attending Pilates for life. Anyone with any back issues should definitely give it a try itâ??s life changing!

Pilates has really changed my life! I had originally thought it would be an enjoyable way to help me to be a bit more supple as I got older however I didn't realise how much stronger I would become because of it. I wish I'd had Pilates in my life when I was younger but it's not been too late. I don't have to wear my orthopaedic insoles anymore since I've started the reformer. I can't praise Lizzy and her team enough I just love my classes.
