Visited coleraine branch in the diamond, coleraine, on friday, 22nd. July, where i have been banking for many years. I noticed that numerous rainbow flags were prominently displayed inside the premises. I have never before seen any flags or emblems displayed on bank premises and i would have thought such premises should be regarded as neutral and find it difficult to fathom why danske bank now seems, certainly in coleraine, to have abandoned that principle. Presumably, they will now display other flags and emblems regarded as representative of the community they serve, at appropriate times of the year. I will watch with interest.

Coleraine Branch is good to excellent, on the ground, staffed with very friendly and helpful people who treat customers with care and respect.HOWEVER, at corporate level, this is the most uncooperative and obstructive entity I have ever dealt with. EXTREMELY hard to contact when you have important queries or anything out of the ordinary to resolve. Their centralised control projects a consistently obnoxious attitude of stone-walling and totally ignoring the real-world needs of customers, particularly affecting old and disabled people.0-12 years ago, it was not like this but, now, is absolutely appalling - AVOID!

Brilliant bank. Went to Ulster Bank to dry up am account, had 3 appointments and each time we were there we were lied to. Went to northern bank and we were approached by a member of staff called Claire. She was so helpful and helped up set things up fast. My son had a deadline to get a bank account and if we had of relied on Ulster Bank he would have missed to deadline and it would have had an effect on his tech, fortunately Claire from Northern bank harped is make sure he kept it. Thank you so much Claire. You helped us so much and you were friendly and warm and you made us feel very welcome. Thank you so much
