Absolutely the WORST place I have ever been. Hardly anyone there, yet it took 15 minutes to even get our order taken. Yet they want payment immediately before food.
Then we waited, with three hungry kids for over another half an hour!!!! When I questioned if the waitress came back and said STILL another 10 minutes and then when I asked for a refund and said it was ridiculous I got told it?s our fault because we ?ordered chicken goujons which are cooked from fresh!? They do NOT take 40 minutes!!! Kids almost crying. Wasted an hour of our day out on this place and the food was basic at best! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!
Also a load of nonsense about the goujons because a woman across from us who had ordered before we even arrived only ordered a toastie and she had to wait the same time too!!!
Also the place looked like it hasn?t been cleaned since the millennium! Horrible! Even my 4 year old said he never wanted to go back to that horrible place!! Disgusting!!!!

Went in when it was so quiet we thought it was closed - tried to order food on their app, but it was slow to load, and eventually the waitress took our order. The food was ridiculously slow to arrive, and then didn?t even come out at the same time. The waitress didn?t seem that happy to be there when she was serving us. Thankfully it was reasonably priced for what we got, but I don?t think I?ll be in a hurry to go back, especially as my son described the fried egg as a flavourless gummy bear

I started going here for coffees when I was at school in the late 70's and early 80's. It was a less stuffy alternative to Dixons, for boarders desperate for a few hours normality. I started going again in my 20's whenever I was home. Because the cooked breakfasts were fried in dripping, so tasted fantastic and the quality filled you up for the rest of the day. The value was unbeatable. Some years ago, I was back again and it looked like the place had changed hands. The Ulster Fry wasn't a patch on the old ones and I think, if memory serves, some items were grilled and not fried. Sacrilege! The service was non existent, to match the taste of the food. I didn't return for a long time. Until just before Christmas. I went in and it was pretty empty, despite being lunchtime. I ordered with the unsmiling waitress and asked for my coffee to come with the meal. I was asked to pay as I ordered and wondered why. So far as I know, this has never been the case here. The cooked breakfast arrived and it looked okay. Okay as in so so. I asked for an extra fried egg instead of hash browns. Hash browns have no place anywhere outside of 'Murica. I had to ask where the eggs where. They were hidden under a heap of everything else. My second sensory disappointment was the chemical smell coming from the plate. Obviously it was washed in a dishwasher and dried, without anyone checking that it had been rinsed. I couldn't be bothered sending the plate back as I was hungry and the unsmiling waitress looked like she was spoiling for a fight. Sometimes, you just can't be bothered with the hassle of asserting your rights. Suffice to say. The food was bland. I think the carbs were fried, but couldn't be sure. They advertised black and white pudding. The black pudding was inedible. The white pudding was AWOL. Its as if the staff know the business is going to fail soon and just can't be bothered to make an effort. That's my overall impression. I also believe that the staff think that having taken your money, they can f**k you about at will. Apologies for the crudeness, but that's what it amounts to. Like others. The meal took so long to be served, I would've walked out. I did try the Sizzling Sausage some years ago and none of the cooked breakfast was fried. When I asked why it wasn't fried. I just got a blank look. So, won't go there again. So, time to search for a new café for my once in a few months treat.

Horrible service,they took our orders in a notes app and we?ve been waiting for an hour,if got so bad my mother had to get us sweets so we wouldn?t be too hungry,it?s also freezing my hands sweet cold and my ankles where killing us! To top it off you can hear everything going on and they don?t even seem to give a shot that people talk badly about the service! We waited a hour and a half before getting our food. Only 1 lady was waiting on tables. Felt sorry for her. They make you pay first otherwise we would of left. Food was ok,bit cold as was the cafe itself, had to put my coat on again. They should concentrate on serving the customers out front rather then online orders. They dont seem well enough equipped to do both so one or the other if they want to keep their customers happy. Wont go back again.

Waited over half an hour on food when I asked how long they were just putting it on said another 10minutes I had a child who was getting annoyed with the wait. Asked for a refund and left. The cafe wasn't even busy don't know what they were doing. Can say I won't be back

Stumbled across this little cafe when out with my wife and 2 kids.... Large menu.. You can just about have everything!. Y wife and I got a fry.... Massive.. My boy got curry.... Massive.. Girl got kids meal. Very good.. Not often iam in Coleraine but next time I will skip breakfast at home and hit the big 0 cafe ?Kid-friendliness: Wide menu to suit everyone

The restaurant was very cold to sit in, had to put on our coats. Waited almost an hour for our food. When food arrived it was cold. When I said to the staff my food cold. I over hear her tell someone Apparently the foods cold. This in my opinion is not a good attitude when dealing with customers. We would have walked out but was asked for payment when ordering. It is needles to say. We will not be back noe will Disappointed be recommending to anyone.
