Great staff, good range. Stock availability for the store on the website not always available/accurate. 'New' click and collect location not as convenient as old one and not always staffed.

Staff really poor at help. Happily stand around and chat today just about searching a product code for me with no suggestions after 0 stock. One exception, Jarek. He happily took his time to help me cut larder shelves from a piece of timber instead of sending me away to look for flat packs. Ended up cheaper too. Thanks Jarek.

I have ibs and I really needed to go but they closed the toilets so I had to use the disabled one. I was in there and an old man needed to go so my mum asked for the two toilets to be open and one of the workers said in a snarky way ?we don?t want to do that? so please look into this

The staff in this B&Q literally have not got a clue. I asked a staff member if they had 8x4 sheets of 9mm MDF. He didn't seem to know what MDF was nor could he have been bothered to check their stock. I ended up getting 12mm, which I then needed cut to size. The man operating the cutting service then could not read a tape measure and decided to argue with me over my measurements and after a while realised he was wrong.My latest experience was trying to return paint which was clearly off, it was like water, the extremely rude staff ignored the fact I was standing in front of them, then told me they were "going to do nothing about it". Im sorry, but returning a faulty item is basic consumer rights regardless of whether the seal has been broke. It's faulty. The staff at this store are an absolute disgrace.

I used to love b&q but I was looking paint one day and I had my grandchild with me the woman was not nice and told my grandchild to stop touching the sample of cards for colour which my grandchild was trying to help her granny pick and didn't like the she spoke to my grandchild and I will not go again there for my paint she just put me off.just cheeky and ill bread no need at all.

I rarely write reviews but I have just left this store and I am disgusted. Absolutely terrible customer service. An item didn?t have a label, so at checkout (self checkout only available) I was asked did I want to ?run and grab another one? which surely is not my error to correct as the customer. Also an older lady infront of me had not used self checkout before and was struggling while the staff member told her it was just ?tough luck now because you have to do it all yourself?, offering no help whatsoever! I will not be returning to this store. This is not what customer service should look or feel like at all!

Apparently my review didn't meet their guidelines so I'll leave it here instead! Price of their sphagnum moss does not add up! 0.57kg for £7, 2kg £9.20 but they never have the 2kg in stock!

There's no longer any public toilets in this store. Self service checkouts. If you need something that's on sale then all good but not to browse as the range doesent change much, just the prices. In saying that I just bought my new kitchen here, but I bought it during a sale at 20% off everything but the latest kitchen sale is just 20% off the basic units and worktops. Everything else like the more exspensive end panels and trims are still full price

Open late so you can go after work, a big selection tools paint and all equipment and materials you need for any work in your home and garden. It's good to see what you are buying rather than limited view when buying on the internet.
