Absolutely love Maginn's. It's always a busy spot, but staff always manage to get you a table. I have visited many times with just a few of us or as a large family group. Adults and kids alike love the food. The staff are really friendly and can't do enough for you. I normally go for the steak or house burger, but I was there last week and decided to try the chicken stack with bacon and leek sauce. It was amazing! My nephew also swears that it's the nicest lasagne in the country. Whenever I'm in the area I always call here and if I'm not driving I love to get their lovely creamy Guinness. It always goes down a treat.

Lovely building and decor.
Food was nice enough but overpriced for what was on offer.
At 19 quid for a burger and chips and £7.50 on a dessert.
The kids menu was OK but again a bit steep for the quality and portion size.
Daily specials looked really good but we didn't spot these until after the order went in.
It would be good to point these out on arrival.?

As a group of American golf tourists, the staff and patrons were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. Will definitely come back the next time I?m across the pond.

A lovely old pub. Food and drink were fantastic but we only had something small as thought it was quite expensive.

Food was ? delicious. Steak sandwich and husband and daughter had roast beef. Gluten free also which was great. Served by a lovely fella Calum who was polite and professional . ? ? ? bravo.

The place looks amazing, the interiors are something else! Service was fast and good. But the roast at 5pm weren?t the best. I would go again and try something else or go at lunch time?
