Absolutely awful experience ? ruined family dinner
We came for a quiet Sunday family meal and were unfortunately seated right next to a loud and chaotic kids' party. We kindly asked to be moved to a quieter table, but were completely dismissed by the staff, who were not only unhelpful but arrogant and borderline cheeky about it.
The situation got worse when the kids at the party began throwing things ? yes, literally throwing things ? over at our table. We were hit with bits of food and even napkins, and not once did a staff member step in or address the parents or the behaviour. It was incredibly uncomfortable, and the parents of the children were just as rude and dismissive.
What was meant to be a relaxed Sunday dinner turned into an absolute nightmare. There was no consideration for guests not part of the party, and the attitude of the staff made it all the more frustrating

Lovely place to go to.Excellent customer service.Lovely food.As a gluten intolerant person I am happy to say it?s safe to eat gf food and the dessert was delicious as well.I enjoyed the food ,the service the atmosphere and I am thankfully not sick.Staff is always super helpful.

Been back 3 weeks in a row after being away due to being unhappy with the food. Have to say we haven't had a bad meal these past weeks. Staff pleasant and service good and so is the food. They have redeemed themselves. Thank you ?

Place was nice and the staff were very good. But the food was horrible. We had a katsu curry and the chicken was the cheapest of the cheap processed chicken with tastles sauce. Burger was grey and tasteless. Chips were nice, until we found a hair in them.

Good variety of food and drink. Rekorderlig Blood Orange Cider is really tasty. Easy to book a table online. Good location.

Booked table for 4 adults 2 kids for sun carvery 15.00, arrived 15.10, told no more carvery meat left, carvery is on till 6pm, this is a weekly occurrence to be fair, wouldn't rush to re book, just got up and left.

went for dinner and got the lasagne with chips and honestly it was disgusting, it looked like tomato soup with a lump of cheese in it. the food is very poor it did not look like lasagne at all, it was more like a cheap ready meal. The service from staff was not great when ordering food the staff member was very abrupt and rude. The toilets in the place have no doors/locks on them and the water is boiling which is definitely not suitable for children.

Had my Premier Inn breakfast here all you can eat. Lots of free parking. The restaurant has been having issues with staffing levels so check before heading g out that they are open for lunchtime and evening meals.

I recently had the pleasure of hosting a farewell party for nearly 30 people at Brewers Fayre in Carrickfergus, and I can?t express enough how impressed we were with the experience. Despite it being midweek, the team did a phenomenal job, making the event smooth and memorable from start to finish.
A special shoutout to the manager, Nathan, who truly went above and beyond to accommodate us. His attention to detail, professionalism, and friendly demeanor ensured everything was perfect. He made sure we were well taken care of, and nothing was too much trouble.
The food was excellent ? served promptly, hot, and delicious. Considering the size of our group, it was no small feat to keep everyone happy, but the team did just that!
Overall, we had a fantastic time, and I highly recommend Brewers Fayre for anyone looking to host a group event or simply enjoy a great meal. Thank you, Nathan and the team, for making the farewell party a wonderful success! We?ll definitely be back :).
Kid-friendliness: Great place for kids to play and loads of parking.
