It's a cafe at a tourist destination. I'd expected mediocre and overpriced food, but the price was quite reasonable and even better yet, the cauliflower curry pasty was freaking awesome. Pretty sure it's all homemade and everything, from the dough to the filling was incredible.
It's a cafe that requires a £13 entry fee (as this cafe is included in the price of entry for the visitor centre). Insane. Cannot comprehend how you would deny non-members the option to pay money in the cafe for food.

Only open if you’re willing to pay the price for admission to the visitor centre. Not sure the logic in turning away access for guests willing to spend money on refreshments - but I suppose that’s to be expected of an organisation like the National Trust that doesn’t have to pay its own way.
