Called in today to buy take away drinks and snacks with my two cousins visiting from America and my 4 year old son. I had bought a coffee, my cousin was buying a soft drink and my other cousin has enquired with the young waitress (who was was very pleasant) if they did milkshakes. She said she was going to use the restroom quickly first before ordering and a man behind the counter shouted ?these are customer toilets.? I explained she was ordering a drink but was just using the bathroom first and he said. ?I am not talking about you? I explained that we were altogether and she was coming back to order. He came out behind the counter very aggressively and right up to my face to tell me they ?weren?t public toilets.? I couldn?t believe it and said again ?but we are customers. We are here to buy drinks.? I said I had never experienced such rudeness. His response was a sarcastic ?I am sorry for you.? When my cousin came back from the bathroom I said we were leaving and wouldn?t be buying anything else as he was so rude. I completely understand that it is frustrating if people come off the street just to use the toilet but we were clearly customers. My two cousins were appalled at how rude and aggressive his manner was and I was shaken. I had read reviews that they do nice Thai food which my cousins like, so had intended to come back for a meal on our way back from the Giant?s Causeway later. Needless to say will never be back. On the way out I asked one of the waitresses if there was a manager but I was told the man who had been so rude to us was actually the owner. I have never left a negative review of anywhere before but was so upset after today?s experience I felt I needed to.

My husband and I enjoyed some delicious pavlova and cappuccinos from Mikes today. Everyone was so friendly and everything tasted so good! Definitely recommend!!!!

Incredible value for money, well cooked and presented breakfast, free top up of filtered coffee that came with the large breakfast fry deal £8, smaller ulster fry £6. Booth style tables. Will return and recommend.

Charming place, Thai and local food, clear allergy info and nice choices for vegetarians. We stop in often and always enjoy the charming service and delicious food.
Dietary restrictions: Very clear allergen info on menu, and servers are thoroughly knowledgeable, wife is gluten free and I am a lacto-ovo vegetarian.
