Looks like a nice place but overall - overpriced and disappointing
We ordered 5 sandwiches and they took an age to come out, when they eventually did, 2 were wrong.
Asked the waiter if they came with salad, he said yes and it came out with no salad, just chips.
Apparently they can?t toast the kids sandwiches as it?s a different type of bread?!
Overall, average food for an above average price. Wouldn?t go back.

we went there for breakfast and had a lovely time. good food, very accommodating staff, good ambiance. I recommend getting coffee elsewhere if you're looking for special coffee. otherwise, not bad.

I had a great meal here in a nice outdoor seating area. The manager was very helpful with some information about the local area and questions I had about local history.

Kitchen open until 6 ,turned up about 2 minutes to 6 ,not a problem, the cheesy garlic bread and salt/pepper chicken was really tasty
Pity I am not here longer or I would come here again

Had a burger here? asked for it nice and simple? cheese, bacon which I must admit came out as ordered? but that poor wagu burger was swimming with oil? the burger turned to slop as it soaked the oil from the meat which I bit into and this sprayed out the sides? yuck!, such a shame, that coupled with the utter cheapest ketchup imaginable?. Such a let down?.

Food was really good. Had the chicken and wild Irish mushrooms. The white hag stout was tasty as well. My wife had the grilled cheese with fries and both were quite tasty as well. Easy to get in and out of and a good wholesome lunch. Staff was polite and attentive. We recommend this place ?
