While waiting to be seated another party arrived and we were told (not asked) by a young lady to step aside! Very rude! I am disabled and use crutches to aid me in walking and the space between tables were quite narrow! Our table was upstairs ( I don't know if my husband relayed the mobility information when booking) but I was told there was a lift or we could wait 5 minutes on a downstairs table, I was fine with the lift only to realise it was a service not a customer lift which wasn't the cleanest and had food residue on the floor! Although the service was quick I did find it rather rushed and the food was good

The service in this place has gone down we ha Lasagn and the cheese was all burnt , as far as I could see it was to get you in and out as soon as possible.

Food and decor was beautiful here the only downfall from was that the water was off so staff were very busy and distracted we sat for 15 minutes with no menus etc and going to the restroom, washing hands etc was not great as there was no water. We also had drinks added to our bill which was not ours however it was refunded with no issues and understandable. Regardless of this the food was beautiful and I would love to go back again soon

I ate here last night and have to say I was very disappointed.
My main was a chicken dish and the chicken was very dry and bland!
Chips and veg was also over cooked and my good had obviously been sitting under a heat lamp for a while as when it came there was a skin on my sauce, overall very very bland no taste to it and everything was over cooked!
Not sure if they have changed their chef but it's went massively downhill since my last visit a year or so ago.
My started was also dry so I've no idea what's going on at the place now but it's definitely not what it used to be unfortunately

Spaghetti Bolognese watery and probably the worst ever in a restaurant unfortunately
Seafood spaghetti was nice but not yum
Pizza and calzone were good. The cheese made these dishes the best

Food was amazing, service on the other hand was shocking. Waited over 20 minutes for a waiter to even acknowledge us when our main was finished, desserts came with dirty cutlery and without an apology it was replaced. Overall extremely disappointing as previous experiences have been a lot better.

My bad experience started even before I arrived at the restaurant. Since my party had 9 people, I couldn?t book through the website and had to call instead. When I spoke to the lady on the phone, she asked for my name. I asked if I could spell it out, as I wanted to make sure that, in case anyone arrived before me, they?d be able to find the booking. Instead of taking the booking with the correct name, she asked where I was from! How is that even relevant to making a reservation for 7 pm on a Saturday?
Once we arrived, the food was okay, but the service was terrible. Two people at our table didn?t even receive menus until we asked for them. Then, the waitress took the wrong order, and we had to ask for the correct one. To make matters worse, she was complaining about it to another staff member right in front of us!
With poor service like this, I definitely wouldn?t recommend this place to anyone.

Went there this evening. I would say it is bang average at best. I asked for a simple spaghetti olio with prawns. What I got was a bowl of spaghetti with a pot of chili oil and plain prawns. Not a sign of chili?s, garlic or olive oil. To be honest, I did think they would have pan fried the prawns for the dish. Most disappointed. Also, we were sat close to the door and with the constant traffic it was cold. The thermometer by the entrance displayed 17.7 degrees which is way too cold for a restaurant. Can I suggest you adopt the European standard for restaurants in cold winter countries by installing thick entrance curtains that will help maintain a better temperature. All in all not a great experience for a restaurant that flatters to deceive and live up to the hype.

Love this place, it's not pretentious but very cosy and just perfect for a date night or a party dinner. Food is always bang on and the service is always great. Place is usually busy and a lovely atmosphere. It's no wonder it's lasted well all these years and will continue. Been loads and will continue to go, highly recommended!

Could not fault the food but service was very poor. Never checked on once we received our starters and mains. Very hard to get staff attention when we required additional napkins and a spoon. Once mains were cleared we never got asked did we want to see a dessert menu. Sat for 20 mins before we had to ask to see a dessert menu. Paid for food and never asked was everything ok. As said food very good but service has put me off returning in the future
