Visited the Chubby Cherub on a whim this morning (couldn?t find the original place we had planned) - best accidental find!
This was hands down best breakfast my friend and I had in all of Ireland (North and Republic)!! My friend had the Salmone Affumicato and I had the Morso da Gentilumo. The Morso was absolutely brilliant: the perfect blend of savory and salty, with the hint of pepper. The sourdough amazingly stayed crunchy. The cheese and Parma ham were flavorful.
The service provided by Gina and Nisha was the best we received as well. They came to check the on us to make sure we were happy.
We finished with a chocolate and lemon tartes. I?m pretty sure I died and went to heaven biting into the lemon one.
The people of Belfast are blessed to have such a gem in their neighborhood!

First time in Belfast. Experience was tremendous until visit to here. Decor amazing, food mediocre but service shockingly bad. Party of 10, were made to feel serving us was an inconvenience Overall poor value for money.

I visited here with two friends a few days ago for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had booked and paid the £30 fee to secure the table. This fee is then taken off of your bill. The food was excellent, from starter to desert it was excellent. Service was very efficient and helpful even though it was really busy. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The only slight issue is that even with three people at a table for four the tables are very small and cramped. It really is a bit of an issue but I wouldn't let it deter you from trying this restaurant. The food is great, prices reasonable and location is very convenient. I'd highly recommend this restaurant and I will return in the future.

We arrived last night for a main course and a round of cocktails. It was certainly a strange atmosphere, a couple who were seated after our table had their orders taken before us. They also were given a drinks menu with the regular menus, whereas we had to ask for one. When we did ask the waitress did not seem to want to help us, and nearly threw it onto our table.
The food was subpar. The chicken in the Caesar salad was dry, the pancetta was overcooked and overall the food was not good value for our money. There was also items not advertised in the menu in the dish. The cocktails were lovely, we cant fault those. Very original and different cocktails along with the classics.
The service was shockingly bad. We do not know if it was because we were young, or if it was because of our accent but the waitresses were inattentive and unbothered with helping us. We always had to get their attention rather than them asking if we needed anything.
Final point was an eight pound service charge was added to our bill, which we were not happy to have to pay. We did not feel that the service matched the charge we were expected to pay. We were only a table of three, I do not understand why a charge was placed on our table. The decor was lovely, very warm and beautiful, thats the best I can say about our evening here.

Arrived last night with a prebooked table. We got sat and it felt as if the service didn't want us there, very much felt brushed off. The menu leaves much to be desired,with the descriptions lacking what the meals actually consist of. I got a main dish ceasar salad, which was not only a starter size, but the chicken was dry and chewy. The tales around us which came in after were served before us, and with a lot more gusto.
Not only was I disappointed by the dish, the service was lacking in every area. The bull came with a service charge pre set, if it were my choice I would not have left one, our server brushed us off and clearly did not want to deal with us. We had to ask for a drinks menu and to place our order because we were waiting for someone to come over.
As for the atmosphere, the decor may have been the best part in my opinion.
It left a lot to be desired, especially for a 4 star frankly overpriced menu.

Coming with 4 people, we found this restaurant by chance. The place immediately appealed to us, the welcome was very pleasant. We all enjoyed ourselves: lasagna for one, bruschetta with parma ham and mushrooms for the other, and 2 chose bruschetta with garlic shrimp. A real pleasure! I highly recommend this restaurant where you feel good!

We left hungry and disappointed. Unfortunately the menu descriptions weren?t very clear which meant we ended up something different to what we had expected. The vegan ?spaghetti? was just spiralised vegetables and the polenta ?fries? were more like thick goujons. The value for money wasn?t really there either as the portions were quite small and topped up with rocket leaves.
We were offered some chocolates upon leaving which we politely declined as we can?t have dairy to which the hostess replied ?They are vegan? I think?.
