If I could give a 0 I would!! This review is a warning to those with hidden disabilities - and other reviews state the same has happened to them!!! Customer service skills are practically nonexistent I don?t recall this particular team member wearing their name badges or interacting nicely with customers. My family member (with a hidden disability) was discriminated against over using a trolley in the self service section (yes there?s a sign up stating this but this has never been an issue before and we?ve shopped here many times) - she was screamed at, told she had a chip on her shoulder, embarrassed by this staff member in front of other customers and the managers response left a lot to be desired. The staff member said
?Do you think you?re better than everyone else? and that ?she?s younger than us? as if this has any relevance to the situation. She then went to other colleagues to talk about us even pointing towards us as the manager apologised. As far as I?m aware Tesco?s code of conduct leaves a lot to be desired- they talk about equity, inclusion and respect AND THIS IS FAR FROM WHAT WE EXPERIENCED IN STORE TODAY!!!!
I would go far to say that these employees have been dragged up. No respect for customers who keep them in a job, the foul language around young kids tells me all I need to know! Even the head office member agreed our shopping experience in store was not that of Tesco code of conduct and they apologised profusely. The lady in head office agreed that we should appoint a solicitor as we?ve every entitlement in this case (even head office couldn?t back their own store up!)The management team should be embarrassed and ashamed that their employees act like this toward customers.

One of your employees is a stalker, we have contacted the police and shock we can?t get through to your store number! I would suggest sorting out the store line so we can contact you and inform you of your employees doing.

Big Tesco in York Street, easily reachable by bus from the City center.
A wide variety of grocery items, also a small restaurant inside where you can sit and eat.
Don't forget to use the Tesco clubcard for good discounts.

Went for an ultimate fry,anything but ultimate ,bacon you cud barely chew due ti how hard it was ,sausages burnt,eggs and beans pure cold this is the 3rd time this has happened,staff on resurant very inexpereced also was told to wait for 10mins to order as the counter was full of trays of dishes,last time i went for something to eat here sat for 20mins on so called fry , 1 staff member seems to think shes boss needs retrained for sure in cafe and not very nice attitude ,cant seem to deal with food orders very well,very dissapointed on this cafe staff,i will b bk only to take photos this time to actually show on fb what its excatly like

Tesco Superstore inside York Gate shopping complex.There's other shops like card and gift shops.In the foyer however there's No bench's or seats for anyone disabled or with walking problems to sit on.When I asked I was directed to a low windowsill near the entrance and it was freezing cold.Given the fact that Taxis were as difficult to get as Hen's teeth this compounded to the pain and suffering.The cafe was closed it was only 5 pm so No Hot drinks.The security lady was very unhelpful.The store layout is very difficult for disabled people as it seems to be so far to the checkouts.Really not impressed.The woman at the taxi rank flat out refused to get me a taxi when she heard my address but got them for everyone else.

Atrocious service in a dirty shop. Self service attendant kept cancelling my assistance requests when there was an issue with the payment terminal which wouldn't recognise my contactless payment. When she finally came over, she said 'just use your card then'. Well, genius, I would have if I had it on me. I had no trouble paying contactless elsewhere so the issue was definitely with Tesco. Won't be shopping here again.

I recently visited Tesco Superstore and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The store is well-organized and spacious, making it easy to navigate and find everything I needed. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I was able to quickly find assistance when I had a question.The selection of products is extensive and varied, from fresh produce to household items, making it a one-stop-shop for all my grocery needs.
