Fry was absolutely disgusting, bacon and sausage half raw! The mushrooms and beans must have been reheated at least 3 times as they were completely dried up and shrivelled and for all 6 beans I got!! Disgrace!!

Atrocious service. Sausage roll came when coffee finished. Just a plain half burnt one so could have been served with drinks.

What happened, Tesco!?? I've lived beside this shop for 12 years and it's gradually gotten so bad that I've started shopping elsewhere.
It used to be 24hrs, which was super handy, but now closes at 11pm.
There's rampant shrinkflation and the variety of stock has been severely cut, to the point that I now have to go to Sainsburys to buy stuff I always got in this Tesco.
The fruit and veg is mostly subpar, with short shelf-lives, garlic shipped from China, and spongey veg that feels like it is already starting to turn. On most days, if you look through the single bell peppers you can find some with mould beginning to grow.
Along with their reduction in manned tills, this year they took away the deli meat and fish counter. This reduction in human contact makes the experience soulless and cold.
Then, the final straw... They decided to make all the trolleys require a coin to release. I rarely carry coins and it's annoying to have to take a key off my fob to use that. While they'll tell you that it's to cut down on theft, the truth is that shops do this cynically to increase trolley return so they have to pay less trolley collection staff.
What was once a properly brilliant shop now feels like it has entered managed decline. All decisions are focused on saving money and enhancing profits at the expense of customer experience.

There's a guy who's always on the self service tills and he's an absolute star. So friendly, so helpful, and he will have lopped the security tags off my gin before faster than a blink. He's tall, early 20s, has long red hair. The other staff in the store are great too, much better than Sainsbury's. I can't say the same about your customers though, so many rude people not putting their trolleys back.

Does anybody know the real story behind TESCO
The Tesco brand first appeared in 1924. The name came about after Jack Cohen bought a shipment of tea from Thomas Edward Stockwell. He made new labels using the initials of the supplier's name (TES), and the first two letters of his surname (CO), forming the word TESCO

Staff don't care about the handsets. The slightest thing wrong, they just put them in a cupboard and forget about them. They never clean them after use and throw them into a basket, then just put them in the wall with no regard if they are working.
