Customer service was shocking. Rude staff, no staff in the footwear section. The shoes needed were also incorrectly priced at £45 and were actually double that. Very disappointing, won?t be shopping here again

Lazy staff with very little work ethic, they want wages but don't want to work for them. Poor attitude and don't know anything about the things they sell. This store has went downhill in the last couple of years, won't be back.

I have been at the sport direct in Newtownabbey twice in the last 2 weeks looking for football and hockey shoes, both times I have had to go looking for staff to help with sizes waiting up to 20mins before anyone helped me, on the 2nd vist I went to the other said of the shop to ask for help and they told me to wait at the boots an someone would be over, I waited another 15mins before I went on search for someone again before getting help yet 2 staff members standing chating about there social life

Just to make everyone aware. You can not get a refund at this store. I was offered a credit note. Can't believe in the 21st century that it isn't possible. Horrible condescending male assistant pointed out their policy is at every til. Customers do not have the time to read the A4 page of rules!!! Buy online where the service is superior. There is no need for this store??

It's great if you can ever get any service I went yesterday to buy myself a pair of trainers there was 2 girls behind the counter doing nothing there was one worker serving another customer are they only allowed to serve one customer at a time I needed up goin home and ordered trainers online

Absolutely terrible customer service. The lazy, slow moving sloth like character who I asked for help to get a pair of shoes for my son could barely speak. He then brought the wrong shoes down ... it was a hassle when I asked him to bring the pair Id actually wanted. He then brought a pair that were an 8.5 and a 9.5 in a box together . When I told him he disappeared to get a matching pair. ...My son and I waited 10 minutes to then see him sloth his bold self out the door with his wee bag packed ready for home. . It must have been the end of his lazy shift. So rude.Sports direct, please employ people that actually have social skills...or just any skills would be great.

Spoke to these two young girls who didn?t have a clue what they were on about. Tried to return a shirt and they told me I can only return online now in which I did only to pay £5.99 for shipping for them to send it back to my house and it said we couldn?t find any faults in the shirt yet there?s a massive hole in it. Waste of £25 absolute joke of a company.

Was served by a guy called Reece, he was extremely rude as I was buying football boots for my son and when I asked for my sons size he sighed and walked out the backfor at least 15 minutes and then decided to come out and say that they didn?t have his size. When I asked for different pair of boots he then said ?is that the last pair??. This is no way to speak to a customer paying at least £80 for a pair of football boots and will definitely not be back to this store.
