I don?t understand all the negative reviews. I have been going to this petrol station for years. The staff have always been helpful and pleasant. The fruit and veg are fresh. There?s plenty of bread and all the essentials are there. The cost of items may be a bit more than other places but it?s a convenience store! The operative word being ?convenience@. There?s fresh coffee and a selection of buns/croissants etc. Sandwiches. But it?s not a supermarket- it?s a petrol station.
Do not be influenced by the quite frankly ridiculous negative reviews. I?m shocked by the negativity of those people. They must have ridiculously high standards. Perhaps they live in Bel Air!!!

Had a very poor experience here asked 3 times for ham and Ur man brought me cheese the first time then I made sure he heard that I said ham the second time and he came back with bacon then a pizza I asked for was gluten free why have a man on the window 24hrs that can't speak a words English

Try to make a deposit 2:30 on this post office this afternoon , the guy wear the duty manager were giving me a really bad manor without any reason. The only thing I said was deposit xxxx mount please. Not sure if it?s because I?m Asian but definitely didn?t give him any bad attitude at the beginning

I just had a really bad experience in the Malone Rd Spar. Earlier this afternoon I made a purchase from the reduced section the product was reduced from £4.99 to £2.00 good value. When I got home I noticed from my receipt that I was actually charged £4.99 so I returned to my local Spar and explained, the duty manager the got involved and much to my disappointment reacted with a disbelieving attitude asking a lot of questions in a loud voice which I found quite aggressive, I pointed this out to him he denied being aggressive and then said he had witnesses, which were other members of staff, I live locally and I found this all very humiliating and indeed unnecessary. When I returned to the shop I did have my receipt and it was clear that I was over charged. I shop here all the time and I would have to say the staff are always very nice and very helpful. Very bad experience today. Patricia McGeown.

The most demoralising payment system i have ever encountered....SPAR evidently think their clients are imbeciles.When I choose to make my purchase with a cashier, I do so because I would like to be able to hand them the physical cash - not (as is the case with Spar Malone) to be dehumanised and directed by the cashier who is supposed to be there to serve me, to feed my payment into a self service cash till which spits out the change at me through a shoot. I will never set foot in this shop again. If you want to be treated with dignity and like a human being then go to the Centra on Ormeau road - the girls who work in there are lovely and give top personal service. Spar Malone on the other hand - avoid at all costs.

Please clean your bathroom and add some refill your hand soap, I am a taxi driver in use of your bathroom every day when I buy my coffee from your spar,

This used to be the best once upon a time and collecting multiple parcels, posting letters from this post office but recently had 2 instances with the same person named Daniel - Duty manager, and his attitude towards customer (me) because I had an experience with him, his attitude is very rude, very careless reckless to speak, we posted something using First class service and I asked him where is the tracking, etc.. he knows nothing about a prepaid tracking and I have been sending prepaid envelopes since last years for multiple reasons and I?m telling him what happens, but he is reckless and sent the package without giving me the tracking number, he enclosed that and posted with the to be sent documents, and there is no use to take a prepaid envelope to track the documents and today I?m here to collect something, he just pulled the id from my hand, his attitude is the worst and Spar Malone road will not be ranking as before with such customer service??

I stopped off at Spar (Malone Rd) to use The ATM Machine to get money out. I didn?t have to go inside & get help as because The ATM Machine is outside the main entrance in The Car Park & easy to use, when you need to draw money out. Stephen Acton.

I would frequent here between 2-3 times weekly. Decent selection and choice. Expensively priced for the majority of items. I do like the deli/bakery but it's not open from late afternoon. Poor customer service overall, especially at the tills. This evening, I did some light grocery shopping, and picked up a coffee to take-away. For some reason, the coffee didn't fill correctly at the machine, with the cup being less than quarter full. I told this to a girl with dark hair who served me at the till, outlining clearly that if I was still going to be charged the full amount (£2.90), then I would not take the coffee. She responded, 'oh no' but made no offer of replacement, or provided a further comment. I checked my receipt on exiting the store - she had charged me full price anyway without my consent!! Not impressed. Staff need urgent customer service training.

The girl dressed in black with black hair needs further training in customer relations. She told me she was the manager too.After making a mistake at a self service till. Being told by a very well mannered member an in a stripped blue shirt that I had not paid for a coffee. ? if u buy 3 the 4 th is free. ?. I thought this had happened and I left. But the man told me so I returned to make it right.As I approached the till the girl in black with long black hair gave me a dressing down in front of other customers and basically accused me of trying to steal a coffee.She is rude and sharp all I did was make a mistake about one coffee and had returned to fix it.Please give this girl some further training.
