I went to the hot food counter to get a sandwich and the staff were clearly displeased and in a bad mood. Their attitude was extremely rude and unfriendly. You don't just feel unwelcome; they go out of their way to make the interaction uncomfortable. They treat you like your request is a burden to them, showing clear irritation and rushing you. It honestly makes you regret stopping by. I will now go out of my way to shop elsewhere to avoid being mistreated like this. Completely unacceptable.

Staff at the food counter is mean! No one is expecting them to greet and smile but they are really taking the extra mile to be surly.
Bad-tempered, unfriendly, rude, unwelcoming, making interaction uncomfortable, showing clear irritation, rushing and treating you as if your request is beneath them.
I am sometimes walking down to Dunnes which is twice as far, just to avoid being mistreated. When you stand in front of that counter, they honestly make you feel regret that you stopped by. Unacceptable.

Ladies at the hot food counter/deli are always rude. Not just with myself but with other customers too. Just go and order anything and you?ll see?.

Over priced Spar that often doesn't have what I'm looking for. Largely caters for students and has little enthusiasm for service.

Ridiculous shop. Clearly states that the shop opens at 7am on a Saturday, yet I went there & its still not opened yet.The same goes for closing times...always closing anywhere from 10:30pm even tho it says the shop closes at 11pm.I met an elderly man who walked there looking milk, now he has to wait or else walk somewhere else.

The most infuriating thing is that they will close 10 to 15 minutes earlier than they advertise, like the whole shop is clearly open but they just won't let you through the doors. Lazy staff that can't be bothered to work until closing time apparently.

This Spar is our local branch and I shop there regularly, often for things I have forgotten in my main shop. It has a good range of products, and often has special offers on. The Spar also has a hot food counter at the back and a selection of Mauds ice cream. It's really convenient to have such a good "corner shop" nearby.

Superb deli food which I would recommend to anybody, however the length of time in the queue is usually quite significant which is an unfortunate let down. Ideal for students living in the local vicinity.
