I'm a big fan of Royal Mail and the folks at Tomb Street Belfast do an excellent job. Unfortunately the package I went to collect, was not the one I expected, but that made it a nice surprise.

The worst service I went twice to tomb street to be told the scanner is not working for a service that's limited to three hours per day is awful. I went back today and still not working staff are not helpful ive been trying to send the same parcel for over a week... impossible

Shocked by the abject incompetence. I waited for a delivery on Saturday, the mailman took it to the wrong address, stuffed it into some random gas meter and left without even bothering to knock or ring on whatever door to find out it was the wrong address. Rang them Sunday and found out they don't bother investigating until the employee comes back to work on Tuesday, and couldn't care less about my package. Sack the lot of these dimwitted good-for-nothings

I had an unpleasant experience. On July 13, 23, I purchased a second-hand item on Facebook. Due to providing the seller with the wrong address, I couldn't receive the package. However, the nightmare began when the package status changed from "signed" on July 18 to "sent to Royal Mail National Return Centre." The seller and I have been trying to contact Royal Mail Customer Service, but there's no direct line to reach their staff. Despite daily calls, I still don't have any information about the package's whereabouts. Now, I want to return the package to the seller and repay the postage, but I haven't been able to convey this message to Royal Mail National Centre. The scariest part is that I'm anxious every day, but the centre hasn't provided any solutions. Staff once mentioned a 30-day notice period, but only a few days are left now, and I'm about to accept a loss of £220. I'm extremely disappointed with their customer service. I tried visiting a nearby large parcel centre, but they instructed me to contact the customer service hotline. The customer service hotline couldn't directly address our request and was rather unhelpful. I can only leave a message here, hoping that a staff member can see my case and assist me in retrieving my package.

Woman on the phone kept speaking over me when I was explaining that her colleague has already processed a returns form or of what I thought it was to be unfortunately I was lied to nothing had been processed as it was weird that I didn't get a reference number too!, after me actually asking if I could get a word in and explain she then enquired to her colleagues and apologised. Unfortunately royal mail has not delivered my GUARANTEED DELIVERY service item that I paid extra for and I am guessing it has been lost. My item is worth in the region of £600. Not only is it frustrating for me to lose the money as claims will only give me a certain amount. My clientele that bought the item was promised it would be with them by the end of the week as I was told by the royal mail worker who lied. This gives my company a bad reputation. VERY unpleasant experience.

I have ordered Special Signed Delivery a few times, but they have never called me to arrange delivery. Instead, they have asked me to collect my packages from the post office. I'm frustrated because I don't see the point of using a mailing service if I still have to go to the post office to pick up my items.
